We plan for each and every one of our students every day. We only ask that AAPS does the same for its school staff.

For the last 20 years, teachers have been AAPS's line of credit to balance their budget.

The district's inability to save money, to budget for staff, as every other of our comparable districts have done is unacceptable. Teachers, Paraprofessionals, and Office Professionals have shown we will no longer accept this.

AAPS, do better. We'll see you at the table on June 15th.

Thanks, Satvika! Congratulations on your graduation.

On Wednesday, it was extremely clear that our Ann Arbor community stands in solidarity with Ann Arbor teachers and supports the people who are doing the work. Thank you to the 1,500 folks in our community who drove out, rearranged plans, and stood with us as we told the Ann Arbor School Board to Plan for Us, and Plan for the Future.

AAPS, it's been long past due that you prioritize your staff in your budgets.

Our teachers deserve fair pay. Our students deserve teachers who can afford to stay.

See you at the bargaining table on June 15!

Studies have shown that voucher programs benefit the wealthy, not working families. In states that have vouchers, the majority of students who use them already attended private schools before receiving them. Rather than creating opportunity or “choice”, these programs subsidize tuition for families who can already afford private schools.

Michigan's Constitution prohibits public funds for private schools. That's for a reason! Michiganders rejected vouchers in 1978 and 2000. Our communities have made it clear: we believe that public dollars belong in public schools. Trump and Devos' current voucher scheme puts all of this at risk.

Tell Governor Whitmer to reject this federal voucher scheme and protect accessible education: https://actionnetwork.org/events/opt-out-michigan-no-vouchers-public-information-session/

Thanks Kevin from Moonwinks Café and Heath from CBS!

We'd say it was about 1500 of our closest friends and allies.
