✨ Celebrating Black Men | Excellence in the Arts ✨
Honoring Thomas Robertson

Please join me in congratulating artist Thomas Robertson, who has been recognized by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® – Delta Psi Omega Chapter and the Pearls and Ivy Foundation, Inc. as part of their Celebration of Black Men: Excellence in the Arts. 💚💗

Thomas continues to make our community proud. His powerful piece, My Daddy Changed the World, was featured in the 2025 Embracing Our Differences Michigan outdoor exhibition (May–October), and later exhibited at the 2025 MLK/Black History Black Artist Exhibition.

This recognition is so well-deserved. Thomas’s work speaks to legacy, love, and the impact of Black fathers—and we’re grateful to witness his gifts.

Help me celebrate him! 👏🏾✨

🎨THANK YOU ARTIST 🎨

Thank you for being here — and thank you for being who you are.

Artist tonight is about appreciation

Not just for the art you make, but for the way you shape conversations, shift culture, and help communities imagine better futures.

That is why you matter.

Artists are needed —
because we are the mirrors and the mapmakers.
We reflect what is.
And we point toward what could be.

So tonight we honor your creativity, your voice, your labor, your courage —
and the way you keep creating in a world that needs your imagination more than ever.

Thank you for being an artist.
And thank you for being here tonight.

Best
