Sometimes, a few simple words can remind you why you do what you do.🥲

That is what happens when people choose to care.

Our volunteers give their time, their energy, and their hearts. They welcome children with kindness. They understand that sometimes the smallest moments of compassion can mean the absolute most.

And behind our volunteers is an entire community of people who believe in caring for one another.

✨ We may be called a foster care closet, but what we are really building is something so much bigger!

A community where people show up for people.

Where kindness is freely given.
Where there is room for everyone.
Where a child can walk through our doors and feel welcomed, respected, valued and cared for.

Thank you to COR Financial Group - Thrivent for hosting a backpack and school supply building station at their Client Appreciation Event!

Their amazing clients came together to build 72 backpacks filled with school supplies for children in foster care heading back to school. 📚✏️

Because of the incredible generosity of our supporters, every single child registered for our Back-to-School Event will have their back-to-school needs met! 🙌

The outfits, shoes, backpacks, and school supplies have been pouring in, and we couldn’t be more grateful. What makes this so special is that our community didn’t just provide the essentials, you gave these children the opportunity to choose the items they want, helping them start the school year feeling confident and proud. 🥹❤️

A HUGE thank you to the American Legion Auxiliary 282 for their amazing donation of hygiene and hair care products! 💙

Over the past few weeks, boxes have been arriving, and it has been so much fun opening each one. These donations will help provide foster youth with the essentials they need while reminding them that their community cares. 🧴✨

Finding clothing that makes older kiddos and teens feel confident and comfortable is so important, and these clothes will bring so much joy to the youth we serve.
