Last night R&K's Angels Board Members and volunteers had so much fun at Jolly Holiday Lights for Make a Wish Foundation! We had a few volunteers that had to leave early and didn't make it in the picture, thank you so much to all of our volunteers!

R&K's Angels along with our awesome volunteers are excited to be volunteering this evening at the Jolly Holiday Lights in Waterworks Park in Des Moines to benefit the Iowa Make A Wish Foundation! Please stop by and see us between 5-8pm!

Volunteers Needed: R&K's Angels will be volunteering at Jolly Holiday Lights in Des Moines at Water Works Park. We are looking for a few volunteers to help us, we will be collecting money at the front gate Saturday, December 6th from 4:30pm - 8pm. Please let us know if you would be interested in volunteering with us! All funds at this great event go to Make-A-Wish, the Iowa division. If you would like more information on the event please read about it at the below link. We really appreciate anyone that would be willing to give up a few hours on a Saturday evening to help a great cause!

We have learned that when some people are going to our fudraiser it may say invalid group number. We went and tried it and got the same notice a couple of times, but then it worked for us. So if you are trying to shop our fudraiser and have this issue please keep trying the Group # 990071811, it should work! Thanks again everyone for your support. Today is the first Red Friday of the year in Kansas City! It has been a long standing tradition in the Chiefs and Kansas City community to paint the town red on Fridays before a game. The first one of every season is always a special one where normally people dressed in red are selling special edition newspapers on the street corners throughout the City. This year we want to share this tradition with you not only because one of our Chairs, Kurt Whitlow, works for the Chiefs but this year the Chiefs are doing something different. Today for Red Friday on the street corners they are selling "This is Chiefs Kingdom" flags for a suggested donation of $4 and the net proceeds are going to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, which is very close to our hearts! So if you are in KC and see the red flags being sold please buy one, or if you only have a couple dollars just give a donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities!!
