Miracle Travel Works provides financial assistance to families seeking urgent medical treatment for their seriously ill or injured child away from home. We assist families needing treatment for their child age birth to 18 years of age living in the Midwest states, including North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio.

"We found out at 22 weeks that Isaiah was diagnosed with HLHS, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. We were informed that he would need immediate intervention at the Children’s hospital and that we would have to deliver close by. The closest one was in Omaha, Nebraska, an hour’s drive away from our home. When the time had come, we drove to Omaha and Isaiah was born on December 13th. Three days later he had his first heart surgery. After his first surgery the doctors found that Isaiah had additional heart complications. It was at this time we were informed that he would need to be transported to the Children’s Hospital in Colorado for additional evaluation and treatment. What a shock! Our world turned upside down as our 1-hour drive was turning into a 7-hour drive. It was at this time that we were informed of Miracle Travel Works. When we reached out and informed them what was going on with Isaiah, they promptly responded and offered to help. This meant so much to us at such a stressful time. We had no idea how we were going to be able to get back and forth to a different state. Both of us had to miss a good amount of work already and it did not appear that this was going to be a short stay. Miracle Travel Works donation alleviated the financial stress we faced travelling back and forth and helped make getting the best care in a different state possible. We are forever grateful for Miracle Travel Works!"
