The Agape Garden

The Agape Garden The Agape Garden is a partnership between Ankeny First UMC and Ankeny Gospel to provide fresh produce to the food insecure.

A team of volunteers plant, tend, and harvest produce, and then deliver it to the Ankeny Service Center. The Agape Garden is located at Ankeny First United Methodist Church, but we are so blessed to have the following churches involved in this ministry: Lutheran Church of Hope - Ankeny, Trinity United Methodist Church and Our Lady's Immaculate Heart Catholic Church. They bring much needed manpower and knowledge. Please consider joining this team as we do our part in relieving hunger in our area.
