Easter is JUST around the corner, so now would be a great time to donate nonperishable items for an Easter dinner for our neighbors in need to the Blessing Box-St. Vincent de Paul Society located in the eastern parking lot of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 700 W. Maumee, Angola, IN. The Blessing Box is available 24/7 for donations or retrieving something for yourself/family.

Easter Dinner Blessing Box Suggestions:

Protein: Canned ham (best option), canned chicken, spam, or salmon.

Sides: Instant mashed potatoes, boxed stuffing mix, canned green beans, corn, or Yams.

Extras: Gravy packets, chicken broth, cream of mushroom soup (for casseroles) powdered milk.

Bread/Dessert: Muffin mix (just add milk/water), cake mix with frosting, brownie mix, or canned pie filling.

Drinks: Shelf-stable juice, iced tea mix, or canned sodas.

Have a Happy Easter and rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ!!!

With Christmas coming up, it's a good time to start stocking the Blessing Box with non perishable Christmas Dinner items for those who cannot afford them, especially this year. Items such as various flavors of Spam, canned hams, corned beef, powdered potatoes, pre-cooked bacon (because who doesn't like bacon any time of year?) canned Yams, canned beans, canned vegetables, you get the general idea! Maybe even some candy canes! These items never last long in the Blessing Box this time of year, please keep an eye on it if you are able to do so to make sure it is stocked for Christmas! And of course if you need it, feel free to use it! The Blessing Box is located and open 24/7 at 700 W. Maumee Street in the St. Anthony's parking lot in Angola. Items such as Turkey Spam, canned hams, powdered potatoes, pre-cooked bacon (because who doesn't like bacon any time of year?) canned Yams, canned beans, you get the general idea! These items never last long in the Blessing Box this time of year, you keep an eye on it if you are able to do so to make sure it is stocked for Thanksgiving! And if you are in need of Thanksgiving dinner items, stop by the Blessing Box 24/7 located at 700 W. Maumee Street in the St. Anthony's parking lot in Angola. Staring November 3rd, we will have a Hygiene Pantry with items available for the community.
If you would like to donate, we ask the the items be travel size if possible.
The pantry will then be located on the shelves outside the Main Meeting Room.
