We need your help to make Christmas a little brighter for children in need across Harnett County!

To Make A Child Smile is getting ready for another year of giving back. Last year, with the support of our amazing community, we were able to take 100 children shopping and provide $300 for each child. This year, our goal is to increase that to $350 per child and continue helping even more children.

Our sponsorship levels are listed on the graphic. All sponsorship levels, except the individual sponsor level, include tickets to our annual barbecue chicken plate sale. Sponsors will also receive social media shout outs as a thank you for helping make this possible.

Our annual BBQ Chicken Plate Fundraiser is coming up on October 23rd and we need your support!

This fundraiser is our biggest fundraiser of the year and helps us provide Christmas shopping trips for children in need throughout Harnett County. Last year, we were able to take 100 children shopping, and this year our goal is to increase the amount we provide per child from $300 to $350.

Tickets will be available beginning next week at Triangle South Realty (800 N. Raleigh St., Ste. A, Angier) or through any To Make a Child Smile board member.

We hope you’ll join us at the Mini Maker’s Market coming up this Saturday. 2 hot dogs, bag of chips, and bottled water for $8. Proceeds go to help the less fortunate children in Harnett County.

The Mini Makers Market - NEW is this Saturday, and we still have five vendor spaces available! If you have a young entrepreneur between the ages of 6 and 16 who loves to create, make, bake, build, or design, we'd love to have them join us.

Our young vendors will be bringing an incredible variety of products, including handmade jewelry, crochet items, artwork, paintings, soaps, candles, baked goods, cotton candy, lemonade, dog treats, flower crowns, keychains, bookmarks, dream catchers, resin art, and much more. We'll also have several talented makers selling 3D-printed creations, custom accessories, and unique handmade gifts.

Be sure to stop by the Depot Parking Lot, where To Make A Child Smile will be hosting a hot dog fundraiser. For just $8, you can enjoy two hot dogs, a bag of chips, and a bottled water, with all proceeds benefiting less fortunate children in Harnett County. Chamber members Sunny Sips Lemonade and Fat Cat Homemade Ice Cream will also be set up in the Depot Parking Lot, making it a great place to grab a sweet treat while supporting a great cause.

It's shaping up to be a wonderful day of shopping, supporting local youth entrepreneurs, and giving back to the community. We hope to see YOU there!

We hope you’ll join us at the Angier Chamber of Commerce Mini Maker’s Market coming up from 10am - 2pm on Saturday, June 13th. We’ll be selling 2 hot dogs, a bag of chips, and bottled water for $8.00. All proceeds will go to benefit the less fortunate children in Harnett County.

The Angier Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Angier, NC are excited to host the Mini Makers Market - NEW on Saturday, June 13, from 10:00am - 2:00pm at the Angier Depot!

Come support young entrepreneurs ages 6–16 as they showcase and sell their handmade creations. Shoppers can find everything from cotton candy, baked goods, lemonade, flavored waters, soaps, candles, pecans, and homemade dog treats to handmade jewelry, crochet items, artwork, sewn goods, woodworking projects, faith-based items, and a huge variety of 3D-printed toys, fidgets, charms, keychains, and more.

To Make A Child Smile will be hosting a hot dog fundraiser in the Depot parking lot to benefit less fortunate children in Harnett County (2 hot dogs, bag of chips, and bottled water for $8). Chamber members Fat Cat Homemade Ice Cream and Sunny Sips Lemonade will also be on site. Thanks to Paradise Fun Events for providing free inflatables and Carolina Trash and Septic for donating the porta johns.

TMACS will be set up at the Angier Chamber of Commerce and Town of Angier, NC Mini Makers Market coming up on June 13th from 10am –2pm in the Angier Depot parking lot (19 West Depot Street).

We’ll be doing a hot dog plate fundraiser - $8 gets you 2 hot dogs, chips, and a water. We’ll have chili, onions, ketchup, and mustard too.

All proceeds go right back into helping us support kids in our community.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! As we complete a few special deliveries this morning, To Make a Child Smile Foundation is humbled by the successful completion of its 2025 Christmas mission. The outpouring of support from individuals and businesses in the community was abundant and appreciated. The teamwork that enabled this outreach was just incredible, everyone involved was so united in our mission. We are thankful for every person that made it happen. From the folks that joined us for the BBQ plate sale, our donors and sponsors, and especially our volunteers- you made this happen and we appreciate you so much! A special thank you for our shopping day “Christmas Elves” - our chaperones. Thank you to Southern Express for the busses, Walmart for rolling out the red carpet, Carlie C’s of Angier for supporting the food drive, Hardee’s in Angier for the biscuits for the children, Manna Church for lunch and a stuffed animal for each child, CB Banks and Angier Methodist Church for the music and help with putting food boxes together, Seven Sabers Motorcycle Club for volunteering at the school, Carolina Trash & Septic for bringing their box truck to transport all the food donations, Angier Police for our personal es**rt out of town, Harnett County Schools and our Social Workers, Mr and Mrs Santa Claus for bringing all the excitement of Christmas to the children, all the chaperones who took their time to shop with these children. Missy Settlemyre WINGS MINISTRY & Wings Backpacks Full Of Blessings from Shallotte,NC for the donation of back packs & blankets. People helping people is what it’s all about. - We have been blessed to bring some happiness and encouragement to some sweet children and their families this Christmas season. Our paths crossed just the one day, but we will hold these kids and their guardians close in our hearts and prayers throughout the year. We are inspired to continue working toward making a difference and look forward to making an even greater positive impact in our community in 2026. Thank you all again for the generous support.
