Please join us in praying for safe travels for Varnado's own Taluan, who will be traveling to the 2026 VitaFerm Junior National Hereford Expo in Madison, Wisconsin, July 4–10, 2026, at the Alliant Energy Center.
This premier national event, known as "The Hereford Masters in Madison," brings together the nation's top junior Hereford exhibitors for a week of elite competition, leadership development, educational opportunities, and lifelong memories. With nearly $40,000 in scholarships, national cattle shows, and 22 skill-based contests, the Junior National Hereford Expo celebrates the very best of agriculture and youth leadership.
We are especially proud to celebrate Taluan, the Gulf South Louisiana Association Hereford Queen, who is making history as the first African American Hereford Queen representing Louisiana. Your dedication, leadership, and commitment to the Hereford industry are inspiring the next generation and making Louisiana proud.
We also extend our appreciation to Lewis Hereford Farm and the Gulf South Louisiana Association for their continued support of youth in agriculture.
