If you or a loved one have a disability, this is a must read.

You will say -Oh but Trump said he would not enact project 2025. If you believe that I have a beachfront lot in Arizona to sell you. Trump Agenda47 is already in the works to dismantle the Department of Wducatikn which provides for education for children with disabilities. That is straight out of the Projext 2025 playbook.

God help us all. When we refuse to attend to the needs of the least of these there are damning eternal consequences. Think on it. Read the red words in your Bible. If you voted for this……..

Project 2025 would directly harm disabled people by removing basic civil rights protections and making it harder for these individuals to access necessary resources and services.

I KNOW THAT THIS IS LONG BUT PLEASE PAY ATTENTION IF YOU HAVE A CHILD WITH A DISABILITY OR KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES!

November 29, 1975: President Gerald Ford (a republican president) signed the Education for All Handicapped Children Act, otherwise known as Public Law 94-142. This law required all states that accepted money from the federal government were required to provide equal access to education for children with disabilities, in addition to providing them with one free meal per day. States had the responsibility to ensure compliance under the law within all of their public school systems.

August 6, 1986: President Reagan ( a republican president) signed the Handicapped Children’s Protection Act, a law that gave parents of children with disabilities more say in the development of their child’s Individual Education Plan, or IEP.


January 1, 1990: Public Law 101-476 called for significant changes to Public Law 94-142, or the Education for All Handicapped Children Act. Republican president George HW Bush signed this I into law. Traumatic brain injury and autism were added as new disability categories. Additionally, Congress mandated that as a part of a student’s IEP, an individual transition plan, or ITP, must be developed to help the student transition to post-secondary life.

June 4, 1990: The Education for all Handicapped Children’s Act became the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. President Clinton reauthorized IDEA with several key amendments that emphasized providing all students with access to the same curriculum, additionally, states were given the authority to expand the “developmental delay” definition from birth through five years of age to also include students between the ages of six and nine.

This guaranteed that our children with disabilities would be allowed to go to school and have access to a free appropriate education in the least restrictive environment. PL 101-476 guaranteed that kids with autism could be educated just like other children.

Three republican presidents did the right thing and helped ensure our kids are not left out. One president with unfettered power and SCOTUS took care of that can undo 50+ years of progress with one stroke of a pen.

PROJECT 2025 will dismantle this foundation for millions of disabled children by abolishing the Department of Educarion.

They don’t care about us! It’s all about power not morality, or religion or conservatism. POWER at all costs.

Jesus said suffer the little children to come until me. He also said we are to take care of the least of these.

THIS NOVEMBER VOTE AGAINST PROJECT 2025 when you vote for president. Do not be deceived. Anyone who will lie about just about anything will lie to you about project 2025.

Read your Bible and read the Project 2025 agenda. Read 2 Timothy 4.

Welp! I nearly let 3/21 go by without a shout out for World Down Syndrome Day! Big shout out to David and all the folks who carry that little something extra. You all add joy and spice to all our lives ! Or in Davids case a little extra chocolate!

My heart got broken today. I belong to a FB group for moms of kids with Down Syndrome. An expectant mother found out that her child has DS at 29 weeks gestation. The doctors gave such a grim prognosis that she and her husband were going to go today and terminate the prgnancy. Over 1500 people responded to try and encourage her to let the baby live even if she did not want to raise it. People will adopt kids witb DS! The post was taken down so I fear that they carried through with it. I prayed for them. It really pi**es me off too that doctors in this age of advancement still give such negative outcomes. I guess it is a bit of PTSD too because I remember how negative they were when they diagnosed David. But that was almost 35 years ago. Please pray for this family. If they did not terminate please pray that they will outlive their fear and that people will reach out to support them. And if they did terminate please pray that they will somehow come to terms with the loss of the greatest blessing God could have ever sent their way. And pray for the baby that God has his hand on it either way.

It has seemed like a century since we posted. David has been in his cabin now for about six months. I don't think that he or I either one can quite believe that what has been his dream for over a decade has finally come to pass. It has been a long, wet winter so the landscaping is nowhere where it needs to be. The couch we ordered six months ago has still not been delivered. There have een a few kinks that have frustrated us as with every new home build, but we have been working through those problems. We have been frustrated at times, but every time we enter the snug and warm interior of the cabin, we rejoice at the blessings that you, our friends and family have bestowed as we were working on this cabin from the moment he envisioned it until its completion. Most of all we rejoice in God's provision.

David is the seventh generation to live on the property that my great great great Grandpa Charles and his son Will settled in Graham County after the Civil War. He is excited to continue to make his life where he always wanted to be settled - close to the land where his Great Grandpa Wade lived and made his garden.

Next projects are bringing in more topsoil to level the ground better and deal with its swampiness. There is a reason that they call it the "Head of Sweetwater". There are springs of "sweet water" everywhere!

And just as the earth springs forth with water, this project is just the beginning of other new visions of our young folks of their self determined, independent lives springing forth with life. Watch for new things coming your way from David's Vision!
