Monday, we had the pleasure of having AHS' Band Director, Chris Miller, speak at Rotary. With over 75 members, it is the largest high school band in the county. Not only have they performed in numerous parades, including Savanaha's St. Patrick's Day Parade, and football games, including SC State Homecoming, but they been also selected to perform in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, DC. It was an intense selection process, and they will take about 40 students to perform, visit the Smithsonian, watch the Memorial Day concert, and lay a wreath at Arlington Cemetery.
There are plenty of opportunities to support them.
They will be collecting donations at the Walmart in Georgetown
on March 28, 29 from 10:00-4:00;
April 18, 19 from 9:30 - 4:00;
and May 2, 3 from 9:30 - 4:00.
You can also contact Chris Miller at Andrews High School - 843-264-3414 with any donations you may have.
You can also support them by attending the Spring Concert at Andrews High School on May 12. This concert showcases the band and chorus classes, which are taught by Mr. Miller's wife, Beth Miller.
If you would like to watch the worldwide broadcast of the parade, it is streamed live online, then televised to more than 100 million homes across the United States on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and CW stations, along with worldwide to every military installation and Navy ship at sea on American Forces Network.

The Andrews High School Marching Band has been selected to participate in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C. They need the community's help to make this honor a reality. Please see the flyer for the details.

Students in the Word provides an opportunity through Released-Time Bible Education for public school students to know Jesus Christ, be transformed by His Word, and become equipped to serve others in His name. Who would’ve thought 3rd graders could get so excited about having their own dictionary and getting to write their name in it.
Thank you Andrews Elementary School and the 3rd grade teachers for letting us interrupt for a few minutes to personally pass them out and enjoy their enthusiasm.

Today, our Rotary Club had the joy of helping Andrews Elementary students pick out brand-new shoes through the Happy Feet program at Shoe Show in Georgetown! Seeing those smiles and excitement as each child found their perfect pair was truly heartwarming.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who purchased a raffle ticket — your support made this possible! 🙌 Because of you, our students are walking into school with confidence, comfort, and happy feet!

Get your Rotary Raffle Tickets now and support the Happy Feet Fundraiser! Last year we helped over 60 children and purchased over 150 pairs of shoes plus socks for Andrews Elementary School students.

Pot is at 1,800$ and growing as fast as a first grader!
