Hello Everyone!

Lindsey here đź’›

A week from today I am participating in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s annual Light the Night event in Boston. I am going as a group with the other student nurses from my school. I am making a poster and would like to put the names of children/teens who have or have had Leukemia or Lymphoma to raise awareness for pediatric Leukemia and Lymphoma. Because of the last 9 years of running Team Cure I have so many kids whom I would love to grab a lantern for but I only have two hands. This poster will allow me to have as many Team Cure kids as possible honored.

If you would like your child’s name featured on my poster please share their first name and last name (if you are comfortable) in the comments or shoot me a private message. I will be posting photos of the event so you can all see the poster once it’s completed. Please submit names by Wednesday, October 15th. Thank you and I am looking forward to supporting a cure for leukemia and lymphoma. 🧡💚💛

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TEAM CURE 🎉🥳

9 years ago today, 12 year old Lindsey created this account and started a project that would change not just her life but many lives.

Though I don’t send Care Packages out as of now to focus on my studies, the spirit is still alive. 9 years ago I wanted to help the only way I knew how, sending Care Packages. Now as an adult I get to help by being a part of their cure. 12 year old me would probably faint with excitement that we get to be a nurse.

In 9 years we have sent over 800 Care Packages, provided many once in a life time experiences for kids with cancer, covered medical bills for struggling families, and so much more.

Hello Team Cure Family

It has been a while since I have posted on this account because I am working towards receiving my nursing degree to become a pediatric oncology nurse. However, our community has suffered a terrible loss and a personal loss as well.

A long time Team Cure supporter and someone I am proud to call my friend Camille Wahl, passed away this last Sunday.

My heart is shattered into a million pieces. I remember when I met Camille, we met on Tik Tok through Team Cure. I messaged her and I introduced myself and I asked her if she wanted a Care Package from us and she said yes. I remember when I went to meet her she also had a bag full of toys for other peoples Care Packages to donate to Team Cure. Camille became one of my closest friends after that.

She fought Osteosarcoma so hard for 12 1/2 years and has found peace at last.

Camille was so deeply loved by this community and was always looking for a way to give back wether that be through making Care Packages for kids on her oncology floor, collecting “Warmies” stuffed animals for kids in need, or donating to Team Cure, she showed selflessness and compassion everywhere she went. People like Camille are very special.

I cherish the memories I have with Camille, the ones with Team Cure but also the personal ones. All the times we got ice cream, sang in the car and “spilled the tea”

Camille is so missed by all those who were lucky enough to know her.

Rest easy Camille, we will continue to fight the good fight
