Andover Maine Food Pantry Serving the towns of Andover, Upton, Roxbury, Byron and Hanover Proof of residency is required and financial need will be addressed.

About Us:

The Andover Food Pantry is a non-profit, non-denominational, volunteer community organization. The pantry is a free-of-charge, supplemental, weekly food program offering 2-3 days of meals to any family in the region with either a short or long term need. Eligibility:

Anyone living in Andover, Upton, Roxbury, Byron and surrounding areas is eligible to use the pantry upon completion of r

egistration. The Andover Food Pantry does not discriminate against race, religion, s*x, or age. The Andover Food Pantry and its volunteers value and respect the privacy rights of its recipients. Services:

Non-perishable groceries provided may include cereal, rice, peanut butter, pasta, canned meat/fish, canned fruit and vegetables, juices, coffee, tea or other food items. In addition, a variety of personal care, special diet, snacks and baby care items are available if needed. Fresh produce, eggs, and bread are distributed when available as long as supplies last. The amount of food received is dependent upon the size of the family. We have delivery of food from Good Shepherd each 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.The truck arrives at 8:00 AM. The other delivery is also on Mondays at 9:30, this is the delivery from Wal-Mart .These deliveries are the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Mondays
We can always use extra volunteers for unloading these deliveries. Please call Anna at 392-1057 if you are interested helping unload

We also can use help on Tuesdays.

Come and see some of the fresh cucumbers and zucchini we recently got at the Farmers Market! We also have plenty of eggs , tomatoes, grapefruit,oranges and potatoes!
