Andover Vocal Music Program (AVMA) is the parent booster organization for the AHS Vocal Music Program and we provide ongoing support to the students, teachers, and staff to enhance the educational experience, performance achievement, and musicianship of the show choir programs. Through active volunteer engagement and financial support, AVMA’s partnership with the Andover Public Schools is a vital
component to the program’s viability and continuing success. Andover High School is home to many choirs, including Spotlight (Chamber Choir), From Start to Finish (Coed Show Choir), Nothin' But Treble (Treble Voice Show Choir), and Back to Bass-ics (Tenor/Bass Show Choir). These groups compete in local and national competitions, such as Mill City Show Choir Festival (Lowell, MA), Central Mass Show Choir Festival (Dudley, MA), New England Show Choir Classic (Somerset, MA), New England Show Choir Showdown (Andover, MA), Eastern Mass Show Choir Festival (Waltham, MA), FAME Events New York, Orlando, Branson, New York, Nashville, and Chicago.
