Village127 We are women and men, singles and marrieds, sisters and brothers, mothers and fathers, daughters and sons. It's time for the church to step up.

Our individual journeys have been different, but our hearts have been undeniably touched in a similar way. Our eyes have been opened to the need, our ears have heard their cries, our hands have touched those waiting to be loved, and it's time now...it's time for our mouths to share their stories. It's time to listen and respond.

Right now, hundreds of children and youth in Minnesota foster care are waiting for adoptive families. Minnesota also has more than 5,000 churches and God has given clear commands for Christians to take care of His orphan children. So if the command is clear and the need is apparent, why are these kids still waiting? Even if you're not called to adopt, we can all do something!

Next Friday is Parents' Date Night at First Fridays!

Join us for (a non-pizza kid-free) dinner and word of encouragement from our guest speakers. Fellow adoptive parents and Cru missionaries Dave and Joy Feldner will share pieces of their own story and how God continues to strengthen them every day.

The entire family is welcome for the evening as usual. MTMS will be happening and the younger kids will eat with our childcare workers.
