Green Valley 5th/6th Additions (Andover, KS)

Green Valley 5th/6th Additions (Andover, KS) Undoubtedly the BEST neighborhood in Andover! This popular Andover community is located just north of Kellogg Avenue/US 54 and east of 159th Street East.

Many of the 130 homes are located on quiet cul-de-sacs or along the fairways of the 9-hole Andover Municipal Golf Course. The small community atmosphere and award-winning schools make it a wonderful place to raise children. Green Valley is a family oriented community featuring a pool and a playground, and walk-out, view-out and golf course home sites. We have an active Homeowners Association provi

ding many opportunities for neighbors to get together. Major social activities include a pool party/cookout and a Christmas/holiday party. In addition to the pool, playground and social activities, benefits provided by the Homeowners Association include fully paid trash service. All homes receive Andover's curbside single-stream recycling service. The fee for the recycling service is included on your city water/sewer bill. Just minutes from Wichita, Green Valley residents can enjoy the convenience of big city shopping, dining and employment. Green Valley, with its small community atmosphere and proximity to Wichita, offers the best of both worlds. POOL OPENS THIS FRIDAY MAY 22ND!

Summer is here and we are getting ready to open the pool next week. As a reminder, and for those homeowners who are new, below are the pool rules. If you have any questions please reach out to the Pool Manager, Hank, who's number is listed below.

Information – Rules – Etiquette

The pool facility is for the use of Green Valley 5th & 6th Addition members as described in the Covenants. You are an owner of the pool and your homeowner’s dues pay for the pool’s physical maintenance. Your ownership of this facility brings an inherent liability that you share with all the members of the Association. The pool rules are not intended to exclude friends, family or visitors. The primary purpose of the rules and restrictions of the pool are to protect the Association’s members and their families from injury and lawsuits, as well as protect the members right to enjoy the pool as a family fun activity.

YOU ARE AN OWNER, SO PLEASE SPEAK UP.

As an owner of this facility, we ask that each of you lend a hand to enforce the rules and restrictions so that all members can enjoy the facility pool. If you encounter “back talk” from children, teens and adults due to your enforcement of the pool rule, please contact the pool manager or any other board members. We will not allow disrespect for the rules by a few to interfere with the enjoyment of this facility by our Association’s members. Key cards can be shut off and access revoked by any HOA member if rules are not followed.

AGE RESTICTIONS

Children must be fourteen (14) years of age to swim without adult supervision. Children thirteen (13) years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult before entering the pool area. An adult, for this purpose, must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Do not send siblings with babysitters who do not meet the age requirements. Children under 3 years of age MUST wear swim diapers. THIS IS MANDATORY, if an “ACCIDENT” occurs despite wearing swim diapers, please evacuate the pool and call the Pool Manager, Hank Lawski.

VISITORS

Visitors are welcome for an occasional visit – no more than twice per week and must always be accompanied by an Association Member. Youth under the age of eighteen (18) are permitted to bring only one (1) guest at a time, unless accompanied by an adult. If possible, please avoid bringing visitors when the pool is crowded. Guests staying in your home (relatives visiting for the week), are welcome at the pool either accompanied or unaccompanied at anytime during their stay. Guests staying in your home must still meet the age restrictions. DO NOT LOAN YOUR KEYCARD TO NON-MEMBERS. Lending or selling keycards to individuals who are not Members will result in fines of $250 and loss of pool privileges.

KEYCARDS & DUES

When at the pool, please keep keycards out of site. DO NOT loan out pool keycards. Replacement of damaged keycards will cost $15. Replacement of Lost keycards will cost $50. Do not loan your keycard to other HOA dues or fees. If your keycard does not open the gate, call or email the pool manager first or a board member. NOTE: HOA dues must be paid by due date or pool keycards will be deactivated. Keycards can also be deactivated for not following the rules.
