"All the research shows that there is a higher percentage of people who access recovery and treatment services through syringe exchange programs," says Julie Foltz, Director of Aspire's Team HOPE (Health, Outreach, Prevention, Education."

Foltz recently talked to Bret Busby on WHBU's "The Buzz of Madison County" radio program about the current discussions in the Indiana legislature regarding the potential renewal of Indiana’s Syringe Exchange Law.

Did you know Team HOPE has a Street Outreach Team?

Dez and Nancy are frequently traveling throughout Anderson, providing Naloxone, education, and talking to folks wherever they may be.

Last week, Dez and Nancy joined community partners, including many from Aspire’s Social Impact Team, to conduct the yearly PIT (point-in-time) count.

Every year, on a single day in January, communities across the country come together to gather vital data from individuals who are experiencing homelessness in our communities and neighborhoods. This is much more than gathering numbers though - together the team gathered data to better understand the challenges that our friends and neighbors are experiencing, so we can continue to build better solutions - together.

Are you in Anderson today? Keep and eye out for our team! Dez and Nancy are ready to chat, and they have Naloxone for you, too.
