This past week, our Foundation Board of Trustees had the unique opportunity to physically leave their mark on the future of AnMed by signing the final beam installation that will become part of the new AnMed Central/Clemson location. Their signatures represent more than names, they reflect a shared commitment to fulfilling the AnMed Foundation’s mission to strengthen and sustain excellent health care throughout the Anderson area.

We are proud to help create spaces that inspire connection, healing, and hope for generations to come. A lasting reminder that the future of AnMed is being built together, because better starts here!

Meet our AnMed Foundation team 💙 We’re excited to introduce the people behind the mission, our team members who are out in the community every day building connections and making a meaningful impact for the programs and causes we care about most.

✨ Tim Self is the Executive Director of the AnMed Foundation! He is our fearless leader and has been with the Foundation for almost 11 years. A fun fact about Tim is when he was younger, he could walk the circumference of a basketball court on his hands.

✨ Kourtney Williams is the Operations Manager of the Foundation and makes sure everything runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. She is the glue of our team, she has been with us for almost 4 years, working tirelessly to make sure our mission comes to life behind the scenes. A fun fact about Kourtney is as a child, she would drink a gallon of pickle juice at a time.

✨ Bradley Orr is a Development Coordinator and oversees Annual Giving at the Foundation. He works closely with our donors, navigating sponsorships and overall donor giving journeys. A fun fact about Bradley is he shares a birthday with one of his nephews, on Groundhog Day!

✨ Lexi Merriman is a Development Coordinator at the Foundation, leading events and donor cultivation. She strives to create opportunities for donors and community members to come together for a common cause, planning events like Camellia Ball and Kid’s Classic. A fun fact about Lexi is she brings carrots to work every day for lunch.

✨ Whitney Holbrooks is the Staff Assistant at the Foundation. She is the first face you see or voice you hear when you contact our office and is always willing to help any coworker that needs it. A fun fact about Whitney is she listens to at least 3 audiobooks a week.

✨ Ann Skinner is a Grant Writer who supports our team tremendously by connecting us with funding opportunities from outside partners. One of her favorite projects she worked on was securing Pill Organizers funded by the United Way of Anderson County to provide patients with a simple, low-cost to stay on track and stay healthy. A fun fact about Ann is her commute to work is a 40-minute stretch with no red lights!

Shout out to our special team members who make our work possible!

Today, on Administrative Professionals Day, we are so grateful for one of the very best, Whitney Holbrooks! 💙

Whitney goes above and beyond every single day in her role as our Staff Assistant. She’s the first friendly face you see when you walk through our doors and the warm, welcoming voice on the other end of every phone call. Her kindness, professionalism, and positive spirit truly set the tone for everything we do.

When she’s not keeping us all organized and running smoothly, Whitney is at home raising her four children alongside her husband, Nick, which is a full time job in itself!

Whitney, we truly couldn’t do what we do without you. Thank you for all that you give to our team and our community. We appreciate you more than words can say! 💐
