We’re incredibly grateful for the partnership between AnMed and Medshore Ambulance and for the leadership of our CEO, William Kenley, in helping strengthen the healthcare services available to our community.

Congratulations to Medshore on 50 years of service! We’re thankful for all you do for our community and look forward to continuing this important work together.

As Medshore Ambulance, a member of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, celebrates 50 years of service, we’re especially grateful for the healthcare partners who have been part of our journey and share our commitment to caring for the communities we serve.

Medshore Ambulance founder Greg Shore recently presented William Kenley, CEO of AnMed, with a plaque recognizing AnMed for its continued partnership, collaboration and unwavering trust.

For decades, Medshore has been proud to serve Anderson County and work alongside AnMed to help ensure patients throughout our community receive high-quality, compassionate care when they need it most.

Thank you to William Kenley and the entire AnMed team for your continued partnership. We’re grateful for all we have accomplished together and look forward to continuing to serve our community side by side for years to come. ❤️🚑

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we want to celebrate the people who make our work possible.

To our donors, thank you for believing in our community and choosing to invest in better health for our neighbors. To our volunteers, thank you for giving your time, energy, and heart. And to every community partner, advocate, and supporter who shows up alongside us: thank you.

The AnMed Foundation exists because of people who care deeply about our community. Your generosity and dedication turn ideas into action, opportunities into impact, and hope into healthier tomorrows.

Today, we celebrate you. Thank you for being the reason we can continue serving our community.

We’re so grateful for the joy and connection that Healing Notes brings to AnMed! 🎶

This partnership is about more than music, it’s about creating moments of encouragement, comfort, and joy for patients, families, and our incredible healthcare team. We’re especially thankful for community partners like Greater Anderson Musical Arts Consortium (GAMAC)!

As AnMed navigates the ongoing cyber attacks, we’re praying for their leadership team and employees. We also want to take a moment to highlight the incredible work they continue to do for our community, even in the midst of these difficult circumstances.

There are so many people at AnMed who serve our neighbors tirelessly, and one of them is our friend, Carly! 💙 Through her work with AnMed Pediatrics, Carly connects patients and families with valuable resources in our community. One of the families currently living in Village Homes was introduced to us through Carly, and she has continued to show up for them time and time again.

For years, AnMed professionals have cared for our neighbors with compassion and kindness, and Anderson is better because of them. Please join us in praying for AnMed’s leadership, employees, patients, and our entire community during this challenging time. 🙏

AnMed continues to make important progress in restoring systems and communications following the cybersecurity incident identified on July 26.

Our care teams now have full read/write access to patients’ electronic health records, allowing them to view and electronically update medical records.

Beginning at 7:00 a.m. Wednesday (August 12), patients can once again call their doctors’ offices and other departments directly during regular service hours regarding their care. Phone numbers are available at anmed.org/providers and anmed.org/locations.

We appreciate the continued patience and support of our patients, team members and community partners as we work to safely and fully restore our systems and communications.

Something exciting is on the horizon...

At the AnMed Foundation, we're always looking for meaningful ways to help our community create a lasting impact. That's why we're excited to share that we're beginning a new partnership with Thompson & Associates, LLC, an organization that specializes in helping individuals and families thoughtfully plan their legacies.

This collaboration is just the beginning of something special. Yesterday, we hosted a group of financial advisors, attorneys, and other community members to learn more about the process with Thompson & Associates.

Whether you've already thought about your legacy or have been meaning to start the conversation, you'll want to stay tuned. We can't wait to share more details in the months ahead.

The future of giving is growing at the AnMed Foundation... and you won't want to miss what's coming next.

Last Thursday, we were honored to help host the Dr. Thomas U. Tuten Distinguished Lecture, an afternoon dedicated to advancing medical knowledge while celebrating the legacy of a physician whose commitment to excellence continues to inspire generations.

Dr. E. Taylor Gunnell, from MUSC, presented "A Study in Contrast: Practical Imaging Selection for Everyday Practice". Through opportunities like this, healthcare professionals are able to learn from leading experts, exchange innovative ideas, and strengthen the care they provide to our community. We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this year's lecture a meaningful success!

Thank you to all who continue to support educational opportunities that invest in the future of healthcare and honor the remarkable legacy of Dr. Thomas U. Tuten.

Donor Spotlight: Michael Cunningham, CEO of AnMed Cannon and VP of Community Health Partnerships

For more than two decades, Michael Cunningham has been a steadfast champion of the AnMed Foundation, witnessing firsthand the incredible impact philanthropy can have on our community.

Michael's journey with the Foundation began in 2001 as an AnMed Ambassador and has included serving on the Development Advisory Board, leading the Foundation as Executive Director from 2010–2015, and continuing to give back today as an AnMed Executive Team Member and dedicated donor.

"Philanthropy literally means the love of humanity," Michael shares. "I've gotten to see firsthand how the work of the AnMed Foundation and the dollars it raises impact lives and actively contribute to making where we live better."

From supporting the Women's & Children's Hospital campaign to championing programs like Mobile Mammography, Safe Kids, and DocLink, Michael has seen how generosity transforms lives across our region.

Thank you, Michael, for your unwavering commitment to the AnMed Foundation and for continuing to inspire others through your passion for serving our community.
