Free flu shots and food Wednesday 10-21

Come on by and fill out a quick form for a free flu shot anytime 9:30 to 1130 or 1 to 330.

Food distribution as usual one visit per household per month. ID required.

Choices include:

Cereal
Canned vegetables options
Beans- black or kidney
Soup- ramen or canned
Side dishes
Baby carrots
Surprise bags
Snack bags
Protein choice: Frozen meat, tuna, chicken, peanut butter

Break bags available for all documented kids under 18! Includes Mac and cheese, fruit cup, granola bar, and many have meat sticks as a bonus 🙂

Flood cleaning supplies bucket available as well.

Meijer in Anderson not only partners with us to provide double match food gift cards, their employees go above and beyond to help get food to families that need it.

Thank you Randolph, for always helping us find what we need- and to Meijer for this amazing donation of ground beef.

Together, we’ll continue to fight food insecurity for families in Madison County.

Thank you to all of our volunteers!

Together we served 168 families today, bringing the total to 306 families served this week with food, home goods, diapers, school kid break bags, and financial coaching.

The impact of your support is incredible- neighbors helping neighbors get through difficult times and come out stronger with the support of their community.

🚲🎁 When asked if we could take a new bicycle donation, it was a resounding YES! 🎉

We accept new gifts all year round for our Christmas wishes program and can’t wait to provide this for a child in need. ❤️

It was a week ago today that 200 people filled a room to show their support for Operation Love Ministries, but not just for the organization:

For the volunteers who put in thousands of hours each year,

For the neighbors who have experienced flooding, job loss, medical issues, and more and are struggling to get by,

For the staff who shows up day after day to help those neighbors hope again,

And for the many partners who walk alongside this mission.

Help for today

Hope for tomorrow

Neighbors helping neighbors in their time of need.

We are so grateful to walk this path together, to show up in community, and to share in joy at the triumphs of so many who have served, and who have had their trajectory altered by the work of Operation Love.

We’ll share more of their stories soon, but for now- thank you to so many who attended, contributed, and bid to help raise funds to reach out as the hands and feet of Christ with tangible goods and services for those in need.

Your gifts are doing amazing things in our community.

Operation Love’s Food Pantry is located at 620 E 21st Street in Anderson (corner of 21st and Noble).

If you find it difficult to climb stairs, please press the buzzer at the door or call 765-644-2121 when you arrive and someone from OLM will assist you.

Bring your Photo ID; and if you need baby diapers/food/formula, please provide a birth certificate or medical card for the child.

One visit per family per month, please.
