(OLM) provides food, clothing, and household pantries, annual back to school and Christmas Programs, and a Balanced Budget coaching and financial success program. Food/Diaper, Clothing, & Household Goods Pantries

FOOD: choose one Wednesday a month 9-11:30 or 1-3:30 and bring a photo ID, park and come inside to register, then drive around the alleyway to pick up your food order! Additionally, vis

it our bonus food pantry the 3rd Thursday from January-November for a separate drive-through visit, no ID required

CLOTHING/HOUSEHOLD ITEMS: by appointment once every 6 months for clothing and once per year for household items. Call 765-644-2121 for information.

BACK TO SCHOOL: register for a backpack and school supplies each June

CHRISTMAS WISHES: register October through mid November online or by phone, pickup of Christmas meal and gifts in December by appointment

* Human Services Programs, including the Balanced Budget Program as well as connected financial assistance programs. BALANCED BUDGET & FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: e-mail [email protected] to get started! All families must work on and project a balanced budget to receive direct vendor payment for qualified expenses such as rent/mortgage, deposits, repairs, doctor co-pays, transportation, etc.

Thanks to Northview Church friends who put together more cleaning supply buckets for those who need refills!

Many were given yesterday to our pantry visitors, but there are still some available. There are also supplies available for those who are now returning home after weeks of damages being repaired.

If you are flood-affected in any way, please give us a call at 765-644-2121 to set up a pickup time this afternoon, Monday or Tuesday 9-11:30 or 1-3:30.

We had a surprise visit from our friends at Edgewood Family Dentistry today!

Thanks for coordinating, Beth, and to Mary Ann and Paul for bringing by these donations.

We continue to take flood impacted household visits (verify through photos or flood zone addresses) as many remain unhoused, displaced, or beginning to get into new residences. Some have lost everything, and these families truly appreciate your support!

Both regular and flood-impact household visits are available at 765-644-2121 x 1 by appointment.

We will have cleaning and cvs health kits available for people who have experienced water damage.

Operation Love’s Food Pantry is located at 620 E 21st Street in Anderson (corner of 21st and Noble).

If you find it difficult to climb stairs, please press the buzzer at the door or call 765-644-2121 when you arrive and someone from OLM will assist you.

Bring your Photo ID; and if you need baby diapers/food/formula, please provide a birth certificate or medical card for the child.

One visit per family per month, please.

A big thanks to CVS Pharmacy for an amazing donation to get food and health products into the hands of families that need them (and to the Madison County Community Foundation for coordinating!)

Tomorrow’s food pantry will not only have additional food items available, but will also have health packs with assorted supplies for flood affected families.

If you are in need, come on out Wednesday Sept 2nd 9-11:30 or 1-3:30 (bring photo ID).

We had the sweetest visit from a neighbor last week who shared her delicious creations with our volunteers and staff.

They all appreciated the kind gesture!

Even when serving increased visitors (by 40%!), these volunteers, work study students, and partners buckled down to make sure families got answers and as much help as we could provide in the past few weeks.

If you know a neighbor in need of:

Financial Wellness coaching and/or one-time intervention
Resource Guides (financial, family services, phone assistance, etc) or

As families recover from devastating losses due to flooding, we know they will have needs not only this week or this month, but even into the next season.

That’s why the amazing clothing donation from SHEIN’s Indiana warehouse today is such an impactful one- to stock the OLM clothing pantry now and for the months to come.

Thanks to Heart of Indiana United Way for coordinating, and to First Merchants volunteers who did an incredible job bringing items to our 3rd floor, sorted clothing all day and helped load up food pantry orders.

This community is amazing and we are so incredibly blessed to be a part of it.
