Hello everyone, We are asking for support in signing this petition to get our city administrators to be more transparent. We are looking to gather 3000 signatures.
When it comes to conducting business, signing contracts, and dealing with community and city issues, we are asking that our city government be more forthcoming with information explaining why when things are being done in a certain manne
As a concerned citizen of Anderson, IN, I am deeply troubled by the lack of transparency in our city government. The decisions made by our administrators affect every aspect of our lives - from the quality of our public services to the safety and prosperity of our community. Yet, too often these decisions are made behind closed doors without adequate explanation or justification.

We are not asking for privileged information or confidential details. We simply want to understand why certain actions are taken and how they benefit us as a community. When contracts are signed or policies enacted, we deserve to know the reasoning behind them - in other words, we want to see 'the receipts' for these decisions.

Transparency is not just about accountability; it's about building trust between citizens and their government. It's about ensuring that everyone has a voice and that this voice is heard and respected.

Therefore, we call on Anderson city administrators to commit to greater transparency in their dealings with us. This can be achieved through regular public briefings, comprehensive reports on major decisions and initiatives, open forums for questions and feedbacks among others.
