April 28 is National Superhero Day, and at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital they choose to celebrate our True Heroes.

Every day, children facing life-threatening illnesses show extraordinary courage, strength, and resilience. Their determination inspires everyone around them and reminds us what real heroism looks like. Their bravery is a powerful reminder of why compassionate, specialized care for children matters so much.

For the past 18 years, the Celebration of Caring Gala has also honored these remarkable patients. Each year, a “True Hero” has bravely shared their story, reminding us why compassionate, specialized care for children matters so much and how the support of our community helps make that care possible. CAMP HOPE is a two-day camp dedicated to fostering healing and understanding of grief, made accessible to children and adolescents (ages 6 to 14) at no cost, thanks to the generous contributions of donors to the Ascension St. Vincent Anderson

The Anderson Center Behavioral Health Clinic at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson is proud to offer CAMP HOPE. Mental health professionals will be on hand to provide support to campers as
they navigate their grief, learn valuable coping skills, and build connections with others who are also experiencing loss.
