We greatly appreciate your contribution to our program to help these young men chase their goals and dreams. Basketball is a sport but it teaches so much more than that. You learn how to work together, how to trust, builds character, forms lifetime relationships and a lot of other things but I’ll stop there. Friday Night Hoops Week 4

We had 34 young men accounted for tonight. Tonight the boys made plans for the first career path they picked and of course we had some basketball fun afterwards. 4 weeks in and we are already seeing progress from these young mens. I can’t wait to see what The Most High does in our community through these young men. Also I gots to mention OUR awesome volunteers who take time away from their lives to come on and pour into the young men of this community. Y’all are GREATLY APPRECIATED! 🚨FRIDAY NIGHT HOOPS WEEK 2!!!

WE had 31 young men accounted for tonight 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 God is good! Tonight’s discussion was the statistical breakdown of how many kids make it to play Division 1,2, and 3 college sports, how many go pro, and why it so important to put EDUCATION ABOVE sports. It was a REALITY CHECK for a lot of the young men because they had no clue that the percentage of playing college and pro was so low. Parents please stress the importance of education because only 1%-3% of kids play college or pro ball. Also a BIG S/O to all that came out to help. This is not possible without you all. 🚨🚨🚨COVID slowed us down from meeting with our SWAG crew but we have still been working behind the scenes! We fed the homeless and gave out clothes last year and the boys really enjoyed it! So this year we are teaming up with The Restoration House Outreach team and doing it again! If anyone would like to donate new or used jackets/coats and blankets please message us.
