Wow! This is a flashback of Spring District Meeting 2018. Sadly we now are missing several of these lovely ladies now. This meeting is coming up Tuesday, April 14th. Information is in the March 2026 newsletter. Let's be sure to get a photo of all who attend from Madison County. We haven't done this for a long time.

Madison County Extension Homemakers chose to celebrate America's 250th rather than International Day today. We recognized the original 13 colonies and featured foods that would have been served in 1776. Featured in the photo are some of our members and guest, a Revolutionary soldier. What better way to celebrate the world than to celebrate the melting pot of America.

We have been discussing our mission a lot recently, particularly Community Support. TANL has came and shared about what they do and some of their needs. They always need diapers. This week they took in tiny babies. We can give them our support again. Thank you, ladies.❤️

Tonight, the TANL House is full of babies.

Tiny ones arriving in the middle of the night with big needs and no warning.
This is why the TANL House exists.
This is why your support matters.

Because when babies come into care, they deserve to be held, warmed, and comforted the moment they walk through our doors.

We are so thankful for our communities across Indiana who stand with the TANL House. From our hearts to yours, thank you. ♥️

Anyone wishing to attend the council luncheon and would like to order a lunch, please contact Delilah by Monday, February 2nd. The cost of the lunch is $10. The meeting is Wednesday, February 4th. Committee meetings begin at 10:30. Lunch is at 11:30 followed by the council meeting.

Due to the miserable weather and cold temperatures we have decided to cancel Fun Day tomorrow. Please let your clubs know.

Following are updates and information on the council meeting. Please be to share with other clubs and members as not everyone is on Facebook.

The historical record meeting has been postponed to a later date yet to be determined.

Council meeting-Wednesday, February 4th at Anderson 1st United Methodist Church. Committee meetings will take place a 10:30 followed by lunch and the council meeting at 11:30. Committees are as follows: Internatiinal Day, Spring Event, Fair, Women's Health Day and Achievement Day.

If you plan to attend and have lunch, please contact Delilah Swinford so she can reserve/order a lunch ($10) for you or you can bring a sack lunch.

All are welcome to attend!
