We are incredibly grateful to the Norwex Foundation for presenting Turn Away No Longer Inc with a generous $3,500 check to support the children we serve.

A very special thank you to Peggy Allawat and Courtney Early for nominating TANL for this award. Peggy and Courtney, your love, encouragement and support over the years have meant more to us than you will ever know. Thank you for believing in our mission and continuing to stand beside us.

The Norwex consultants also filled Katie's Boutique - Foster Indiana with love by donating pajamas, socks, underwear, hygiene products and shoes for children in foster care.

Every dollar given and every item donated will help us provide comfort, dignity and care to children when they need it most.

To the Norwex Foundation, Peggy, Courtney and every Norwex consultant who gave so generously, thank you for helping us change how foster care begins.

There is something powerful about watching a community come together when people need it most. ♥️

Today, TANL partnered with FaithChurch, Liberty Christian School and Community Hospital South to take flood relief directly into the neighborhoods that need it.

We loaded up water, cleaning supplies and other essentials and convoyed into flood affected areas, going house by house and making sure families had supplies to keep moving forward.

For many families, the work is far from over. Homes are still being cleaned out. Belongings are still being sorted through. Families are still trying to figure out what comes next.

But they are not doing it alone.

Today was another reminder of just how much can happen when people come together with one purpose: to help their neighbors.

We are so grateful to Faith Church, Community Hospital South, our TANL Team and every volunteer who showed up and worked alongside us today.

And to every person, business and organization that has donated supplies, volunteered or supported our flood relief efforts, YOU made today possible. Every bucket loaded. Every case of water handed out. Every family we were able to reach happened because this community continues to give.

This is community.

Showing up. Helping where you can. Taking care of one another.

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FAMILIES AFFECTED BY THE FLOOD. If you have been displaced from your home, the State of Indiana through IHCDA is offering an Emergency Hotel Voucher that can provide up to 30 days of hotel lodging for eligible families.

We have personally gone to hotels trying to find locations that will honor these vouchers. Any hotel we have identified as not accepting the voucher is one we personally checked with in person. We are not listing hotels that we have not personally checked.

We know families need answers and they need them quickly. We want to share what we are learning and help make these resources easier to navigate.

This Saturday, Turn Away No Longer Inc is partnering with FaithChurch, to take flood relief directly into the neighborhoods that were hit.

We will be convoying into affected areas and going house by house passing out bottled water, cleaning supplies and other needed items.

IF YOU WERE AFFECTED BY THE FLOOD AND NEED SUPPLIES, PLEASE COMMENT YOUR ADDRESS BELOW.

We will do our very best to reach as many families as possible.

TANL is also continuing to give out flood relief supplies during our regular business hours. If you need supplies, please call us at 765 393 0420.

We are incredibly grateful to IDES, International Disaster Emergency Service, for being right here in Anderson helping families affected by the flooding. ♥️

Their teams are going into homes and doing the hard work that has to happen before families can begin rebuilding.

They are removing damaged drywall, insulation and flooring, clearing out what the flood destroyed and doing whatever it takes to help get these homes cleaned out and ready for the next step.

This kind of work is not easy. It is dirty, exhausting and incredibly important.

To every IDES volunteer who has come to Anderson, rolled up their sleeves and stepped into these homes to help our neighbors, THANK YOU.

Our community has been through so much, and knowing there are people willing to show up and work alongside families during some of their hardest days means more than we can put into words.

A huge thank you to the Lapel Lions Club for donating a truckload of bottled water for families affected by the flooding.

Sam and Rick from Gaylor Electric delivered the water to Turn Away No Longer Inc, making sure it could get directly into the hands of families who need it. Rick is also a proud member of the Lapel Lions Club.

We are incredibly grateful to the Lapel Lions Club for stepping up and helping our community during such a difficult time.

$16,700 for Turn Away No Longer Inc! ♥️

We are incredibly grateful to Henry County REMC and everyone who made the 2026 Power Swing Classic such an incredible success.

Because of the generosity of the golfers, sponsors, volunteers and everyone who supported this event, an amazing $16,700 was raised for Turn Away No Longer Inc.

We also want to give a very special thank you to premier sponsor AMPP Construction and every business and individual who helped make this event possible.

This gift means so much more than a number on a check. It means more resources, more support and more opportunities for TANL to be there for children in foster care when they need us most.

To Henry County REMC, thank you for believing in our mission and choosing TANL. To every sponsor, golfer, volunteer and supporter who played a part in this incredible day, please know how deeply appreciated you are.

A BIG THANK YOU to Texas Roadhouse! ♥️

Today, Texas Roadhouse provided lunch for our TANL volunteers who have been working so hard to help families affected by the flooding.

Our volunteers have given countless hours unloading supplies, stocking tables, loading vehicles and making sure families have what they need. Having a wonderful lunch waiting for them was such a kind way to remind them that our community is taking care of them too.

108 CLEANING BUCKETS HEADED TO NEW CASTLE. ♥️

When help comes through our doors, we believe in getting it wherever it is needed most.

UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief generously donated 1,050 flood cleanup buckets to Turn Away No Longer Inc to help families recovering from the devastating flooding.

Today, 108 of those buckets were loaded up and sent to New Castle to help families there begin the difficult work of cleaning up their homes.

This is what makes a community response so powerful. One organization gives. Another helps distribute. Volunteers load trucks. And supplies keep moving until they reach the families who need them.

To UMCOR, THANK YOU for trusting TANL with this incredible donation and for helping us reach beyond our own doors to serve our neighbors.

And to everyone helping load, move and distribute these supplies, thank you for continuing to show up.

TODAY, OUR TANL TEAM TOOK FLOOD RELIEF INTO THE NEIGHBORHOODS. ♥️

For days, families have been coming to Turn Away No Longer Inc for help. Today, we took that help directly to them.

TANL Team Members Pat Hanlon, Candy Killian, Linda Schipp and Becky Burk loaded up and headed into neighborhoods affected by the flooding, passing out peanut butter and jelly, bread, water, trash bags and cleaning supplies.

They went to 3rd and Sycamore, Alex Pike, Park Place, down Milton and throughout the 10th Street Park area, making sure families knew they had not been forgotten.

A huge THANK YOU to Randy Tapscott, Store Manager at Applewood Pay Less, for donating 20 cases of peanut butter and 20 cases of jelly. Because of your generosity, our team was able to put food directly into the hands of families who need it right now.

And to Pat, Candy, Linda and Becky, THANK YOU for continuing to show up and serve our community with so much heart.

This is what community looks like.

People giving what they can. People showing up. People taking care of one another.
