Still have water in your house from the floods? Call Park Place Church of God to get on the list to borrow one of our water pumps.

We have two water pumps that we are loaning out to neighbors impacting by the flooding who are needing to get water out of their homes! Contact the church office at 765-642-0216 or send us a Facebook message to get on our list. A volunteer will bring it to your home and get it set up for you.

We are giving away Flood Cleanup Kits at Park Place Church of God tomorrow, Sunday August 16th from 2-4pm! While supplies last.

Tomorrow, Sunday August 16th from 2-4pm we will have these Flood Cleanup Kits available while supplies last! Come to Park Place Church of God at 501 College Drive Anderson and we'll be set up inside our Welcome Center (just inside the doors off our half-circle drive, under the steeple!).

Many thanks to our new friends at DRAW (Disaster Relief At Work) for driving down from Michigan yesterday to provide us with these amazing kits.

UPDATE (5:01pm 8/14/26): Our pantry IS OPEN tonight (8/13/26) but CLOSED tomorrow 8/14/26 due to the rising river levels. Much of the Park Place neighborhood is being evacuated so please be careful if you come to pantry tonight.

-----

We are keeping a close eye on the river levels at Edgewater Park & Athletic Park. At this point (12:30pm 8/13/26) our food pantry will remain OPEN for its regular session this evening, Thursday August 13 from 6-7:30pm.

If you plan to come this evening please exercise caution through the Park Place neighborhood and stay off of 10th Street if possible.

We'll update later if we decide to close due to rising river levels this evening and tomorrow morning.

An easy way to help out one of our partners in the community!

UPDATE: Work is starting today! Please add eggs and bottled water to our needs list!

Exciting news and a way to help!

Because of a generous grant, we are installing a new HVAC system and air sanitation system that will make our dining room and kitchen safer, healthier, and more comfortable for the hundreds of people who depend on us each month.

This is a MAJOR capital improvement that otherwise would have required a significant request for financial support. This new unit will be far more efficient and effective than what we have now. A HUGE blessing indeed!

To complete the installation, our kitchen will be closed for 3–5 days. While the stoves may be off, our mission won't stop. Every meal will continue to be served, just in the form of sack lunches.

We're asking our community to help us bridge the gap by donating:
🥪 Sliced bread
🥜 Peanut butter & jelly
🥩 Cold cuts
🥗 Chicken or tuna salad
🥔 Individual bags of chips
☕ Coffee

The installation will begin Monday, July 13 and take 3-5 days to complete. But you may begin bringing in items immediately.

Donations can be dropped off at The Christian Center Dining Room during regular business hours.

A temporary kitchen closure should never mean an empty stomach. With your help, it won't.

Shout out to several youth students from Park Place Church of God for their help on Saturday during the annual Letter Carrier’s Drive! They worked hard and had lots of fun. Those donations were divided up amongst several local food pantries - including ours!
