Homeschool Meeting today was on the Peanut. We picked peanuts and had them pod blasted by Extension Agents, Charles Simon and Sedrick Mack, Agronomic Crops Agent. We had great turnout. If you didn’t make it this month we’ll meet again Monday Oct. 12 at 10 am.

The application to attend Ignite by 4-H 2027 is now open! 🌟🚀🍀

Hosted by National 4-H Council, Ignite brings together teens from all across the U.S. to Washington D.C. to immerse themselves in hands-on workshops, experiences and activities in their desired program area. 4-H'ers can choose from agriscience, animal science, community accelerators, CWF @ Ignite, STEM or healthy living.

With the addition of public speaking, career and life readiness and presentation workshops, participants will apply what they learn to their own life and take a step toward becoming .

Ignite 2027 will be held March 17-21 and is open to senior level 4-H members (ages 14-18). The deadline to apply closes September 28, 2026. If interested in applying or to learn more, speak to your county 4-H agent and visit www.aces.edu/4h/ignite-by-4-h/
