It's the final weekend to enter the Alabama 4-H BIGGEST Catch Virtual Fishing & Art Contest!

Looking for a fun family activity? Head to your favorite Alabama freshwater fishing spot and make some memories together before the contest ends June 15. Youth ages 9–18 can compete by catching and measuring fish in categories like bass, catfish, crappie, and bream, or show off their creativity in the Fish Art Contest.

Whether you're casting a line from the bank, a boat, or helping create an award-winning piece of art, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Grab your rods, gather the family, and make this last weekend count!

Alabama 4-H invites everyone ages 9 to 18 to test their fishing skills through 4-H BIGGEST Catch, a virtual fishing contest!

We held a class on Wednesday, June 10, that began with learning about the native greenery many of us have in our own yards. Each 4-H’er picked a variety of flowers then clipped more flowers from our garden on site. We then arranged them and each of the students sketched and learned how to use a watercolor wash to bring the simple sketch to life. They took their flowers and paintings home with them. Great fun for all!

June 30th- Sewing Day (ages 9-18) 10am-12pm
July 1st- Farm to Table (ages 9-18) 10am-12pm
