We said girls day… they actually wanted us to work out 😅

Walked into Pure Barre Anchorage thinking this was going to be cute… and it was. Just not in the way I expected.

My sister moms showed up ready.
I showed up… setting up the camera and fixing my hair first. Priorities.

Somewhere between the shaking legs and the laughter, I realized I probably needed that more than I thought.

But let’s be clear.
The shopping at the end.
That was my favorite part. No debate.

Join us for the 6th Annual Live Black Wax Museum, presented by the Jack & Jill of America, Inc. – Anchorage Chapter.

This free community event features our amazing youth bringing history to life by portraying influential African Americans who attended HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities). Through creativity, storytelling, and performance, our children will educate and inspire our community.

2026 Jack and Jill Anchorage Chapter Membership Tea 🤍

An afternoon filled with connection, laughter, and sisterhood—beautifully hosted by our VP, Renee, at her lovely home. Every detail was thoughtful, the food and treats were delicious, and the peach cobbler cupcakes? Truly next-level.

What made it special wasn’t just the setting (though it was stunning), but the opportunity to connect with potential new mother members and spend time with women who show up for one another with intention and joy.

There’s something grounding about gathering with sister moms—shared values, shared laughter, shared purpose. Always a good time, and always grateful for moments like this.
