Snow Country Dancers provides dance education and social dancing opportunities to the LGBT community of Alaska in a fun and welcoming environment. We cater to the gay community of Anchorage and are open to all. Building on a long history of LGBT dancing in Anchorage, Snow Country Dancers was founded as a not-for-profit group of LGBT people and allies who love to dance. We have a great time through

dance lessons, community service and social dancing. We exist to provide a comfortable and safe place for LGBT people and friends to dance and learn to dance. We line dance, two-step, swing, salsa, waltz and more. We dance September through May, taking a break for the beautiful Alaskan summer. We dance weekly at Mad Myrna's. We are a member of the International Association of Gay and Le***an Country Western Dance Clubs.
