Anchorage Restaurant Week, formerly known as Dine Out Against Hunger, is an annual event each September that invites diners to support Anchorage’s vibrant restaurant industry while also shedding light on the stark reality of food insecurity in our community. Hunger is a significant issue in Alaska, affecting 1 in 8 Alaskans, including children, seniors, veterans, and families in every community across the state.

Anchorage restaurants and community sponsors, this is your sign. 🍽️

Anchorage Restaurant Week is back October 22-29, 2026, and we’re officially recruiting restaurant partners and sponsors!

This year, our goal is big: 50 participating restaurants and $50,000 raised through dining out against hunger.

Restaurants can join by creating a special menu, offering a featured item, donating a portion of proceeds, providing gift cards or helping spread the word. Sponsors can help make the week even bigger through community visibility, promotion and support for Food Bank of Alaska’s work across the state.
