The Pot of Gold Softball tournament is coming up on June 5th through the 7th. Registration is $450 a team for the cash prize tournament. Registration closes the night of May, 31st, 2026. This year we welcome Back the USA Patriot Slow Pitch softball team. They will be participating in the Men’s D division. In addition there will be a meet and greet on Friday the 5th from 5:30 to Close at the American Legion Post 28 at 7001 Brayton Dr. in Anchorage. The Patriots will also be participating in a few exhibition games at the Jean Cartee fields on 5-4-26 from 6:30-9:30 on field 3. All are welcome to attend. See you all there.

The Anchorage sports office will be closed on Friday 5-15-26! The office will reopen open Monday 5-18-26. Have a good weekend.

Just a reminder Coach bag pick up will be at the Anchorage Sports office (2464 Tudor) today from 1-4pm. Men’s and Women’s team can pick up their bags from 1 to 2:30. Coed bags can be picked up from 2:30 to 4pm. See you there.

Slowpitch softball games on the dirt fields will be postponed tonight due to weather. This includes Cartee 5 & 6, and Albrecht 3 & 4. They will be rescheduled as soon as possible!

In response to the police notice that Cartee and Russian Jack fields are closed.

The fields were closed this morning 7-15-25, to clear the homeless camps out from the wooded area behind the softball fields. Our maintenance crews were informed around 2:30 pm that the project was complete and that the fields are again open. So games tonight will continue as scheduled.
