It's with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Toupes, the president and founder of the Alaska Orchid Society (AKOS).

Sorry for the short notice but tonight we will honor his legacy with a zoom meeting. Anyone wishing to attend can follow the information provided below.

I have some sad news to share with you.
Our dear orchid friend, Wayne Toups, passed away last week.
He did so much for all of us interested in orchids and held our club together.
The Board of Directors of the Alaska Orchid Society is working to bring all the bits of information that we collectively have, to carry on.
We are still trying to put all the pieces together so that we can meet via Zoom at our regular meeting time on Tuesday, February 24th at 6:00 PM.
Update! We had to purchase a new Zoom account and here is the link to join the meeting tomorrow (Tuesday.)
