We also provide the opportunity to directly purchase a renovated condo or house. With our partners at Shiloh Community Housing we can assist in furnishing the homes for families.

At Joe's House Foundation we not only provide a safe place for our residents in a sober living home, we also help our residents obtain employment and training in the construction trades through Hiland Construction LLC and organizations like Alaska Works Partnership Inc. They offer a an opportunity of a lifetime for someone who wants to join the trades and build a successful career.

At Joe's House Foundation we are partnered with other non profits helping to support the community. Shiloh Community Housing provides home furnishings to help people fill their homes with needed furnishings. We, along with Hiland Construction LLC donates their company vehicles and time to help support Shiloh Community Housing by providing donated furnishings from the community. We appreciate their partnership in helping the community

The past couple of weeks have seen substantial snowfall. Our residents have access to a warm and secure place to live, free from the anxieties of being homeless on the streets.

Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Supporters,

We are reaching out today with heavy hearts to share the story of a local man who has suffered an unimaginable loss. In the early morning hours of Friday, January 23, a mobile home fire in East Anchorage engulfed his residence, claiming the lives of his female companion and their two beloved dogs, and leaving him without a home and without the people and pets he loved most.

Firefighters worked tirelessly to save lives amid thick smoke and intense heat, but despite their heroic efforts, this family could not be saved.

Now, this man is faced with the overwhelming task of rebuilding his life from nothing — emotionally, physically, and financially. We are asking our community to come together to support him in this time of need.
How You Can Help:

🙏 Monetary Donations: Your financial gifts will help cover immediate needs — shelter, clothing, transportation, and essential expenses as he begins to recover and rebuild. All funds will be collected and disbursed through Joe’s House Foundation, a registered nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals and families through unexpected hardships.

🍲 Food and Supplies: In addition to financial support, donations of non-perishable food items, prepared meals, and essential household supplies will provide immediate relief during this difficult transition.
