I want to announce my intentions after separating from Cornerstone Health in December. Together my wife and I have decided to start what we are calling “our Second Curve” of service. Shout out to Pastor Kent Redfearn of Second Curve Coaching for leading the way. We are delighted to present our newest life adventure. We have launched two cutting-edge medical initiatives to continue our part in Jesus' healing ministry in today's world.
We have formed a new 501 (c) 3 faith-based entity called Foundation for the Advancement of FDM Osteopathy modeled after CHA. We have opened a small licensed medical office dba Caring Hands FDM Osteopathy. We are located at 2801 E.15th Ave, Suite A. Our phone number is (907) 743-7584, fax (907) 743-7586. The Foundation for the Advancement of FDM Osteopathy is our faith-based nonprofit organization and is specifically organized to advance the knowledge, m pl understanding and practice of the Fascial Distortion Model in Osteopathy through direct patient care and through research, teaching, training and equipping health care providers and students locally, nationally and globally

You may have learned by now that I did not renew my contract at Cornerstone Health on January 1, 2025. This was intentional and with purpose. From the time I was a boy in Jr High School I have had a calling to serve in missions in Africa. I believe the practice of medicine is a calling. As Scripture reminds us, “the gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.” Founding Cornerstone Health 30 years ago was part of that calling, enabling us to support medical missions over the years. However, this past year has been a time for me to revamp, refocus, and recharge that vision as I prepare for the next chapter. We completed our calling at Cornerstone Health on December 31, 2024, and commenced our marvelous new beginning on January 1, 2025.
Serving alongside the dedicated and talented Christian Health Associates/Cornerstone Health team for 30 years has been an incredible honor. Together, we have witnessed God’s abundant blessings on this remarkable journey. I deeply appreciate everyone who has been part of this endeavor. A special thank you to my co-founders, Dr. Brian Green, Sarah Mills, and Brenda Moore, for their vision and unwavering commitment. Thank you to all the staff who have served with us and the patients who entrusted us with their care. Truly, God has been faithful every step of the way.
Sher and I are highly motivated and inspired to embrace our “Second Curve” of medical service. Our website will soon be ready with additional information and available for patient access.
This new medical ministry curve allows us to prioritize both local care and global missions. We are excited to continue working with patients while advancing osteopathic medicine among underserved populations. In fact, we have just completed a medical mission to Nakalanda, Uganda with colleagues from Germany and Kenya, where we trained 14 medical professionals in the first of three modules of the Fascia Distortion Model of health care. Training and treating in the name of Jesus brings us tremendous fulfillment in our calling. In January I completed a similar mission to Burkina Faso along with colleagues from Austria and the European FDM Association. We are returning home now from a three day Advanced FDM course held in Faro, Portugal.
Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and continued support as we enter this new season. We remain committed to serving others with excellence and faithfulness.
