🙏 Fa’afetai tele lava (Sincere Appreciation in Samoan) Alaska Humanities Forum Leadership Anchorage! 🎉

🙌 We are proud to announce that our project has been selected for one of the most prestigious opportunities in Anchorage!

👏 Out of an incredibly competitive field of 26 proposals, our submission was chosen as one of only eight to present to the esteemed Leadership Anchorage Cohort. This is a truly remarkable achievement and a testament to the dedication, passion, and hard work of our entire team and community. 🏆

🌟 This victory is also a shared one! We want to give a special, heartfelt shout-out to our incredible partners at Pasefika Roots Institute of Language & Cultural Arts 🙏 Although their project was not selected this year, they are an absolutely vital part of our winning Restorative Justice Cultural Project Submission. We are so proud to be working alongside them to bring this impactful vision to life.

📢 What a beautiful day to celebrate! 🎉

📣 A huge fa'afetai tele lava 🙏 and congratulations to our incredible students and their dedicated parents and guardians on a successful First Day of Classes for the Fa'aSamoa Program Cycle 1! 🥳

🎉 The energy, excitement, and eagerness to learn were absolutely amazing! It was a joy to see our primary and intermediate students dive into the rich world of the Samoan language 🇼🇸 🇦🇸 and cultural arts. This is just the beginning of an incredible journey of discovery, and we are so proud to be a part of it. 📚

🙌 A special thank you to our phenomenal instructors, Chaplain Seleni Nauli, P.S. Will Amotai Asaivao, Ms. Annamaria Unutoa, and Ms. Amy Unutoa, for their guidance and passion. 👏 Your commitment is what makes this "Home of Pasefika Heritage in Alaska" a reality. ‼️
