Just a few days left until the month is over!!

VCA Alaska Pet Care is hosting a Dirty Dog Special for the entire month of April!

VCA Alaska Pet Care is happy to provide this special for all dogs & cats with proof of Rabies vaccine. Services include: bath, deep shampoo and conditioning, blow dry, brush out and nail trim.

Donations can be made by cash or check to the Eva Program at the front desk after your appointment.

Alaskans, YOU can help the Eva Program provide more services to survivors of abuse by designating a portion of your PFD. Changes can be made through August 30th.

Anytime during the year, if you move, don't forget to update the division by submitting an Address Change Form available on our Forms page. Failure to notify the division of an address change could result in your application getting denied or a delay in distributing the dividend.

What's your Green Dot?

Over the last two days we posted two very different, yet in a way similar articles about power based personal violence( the assertion of power and control through harming another) and how people felt it was their responsibility to step in and do something.

It does take a whole community to create a safer place for everyone and there are safe and healthy ways to intervene to prevent violence from happening but the reality is, that it is not always clear as to WHAT we should be doing.

To learn more about how you can help ultimately reduce the number of people being harmed by sexual violence join us and other community members for a free and fun green dot bystander training where you will gain and practice practical skills to help keep our community safe!
