Texas Rags To Riches Rescue - Atlantic Canada Adoptions “You can’t buy love, but you can rescue it” Since 2019, the rescue has rescued over a thousand dogs and found wonderful loving furever homes in Atlantic Canada.

About Our Rescue:

Texas Rags to Riches Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue and welfare organization founded in 2019 by Megan Richey. Our rescue has grown to include several volunteers and fosters in the USA as well as a team of volunteers and fosters in Atlantic Canada. Our Mission:

Our mission is to rescue as many dogs as possible from high-kill shelters in Texas. We provide

the unwanted, injured, and starved with love, medical services, and protection. We have a team of volunteers dedicated to finding their furever families in the USA and Atlantic Canada. Our team transports all adopted dogs every 8 weeks from Anahuac, Texas, to the Atlantic Provinces. We advocate for animal welfare and education to end the unnecessary euthanasia of precious lives. Our Rescue Team:

Our amazing team of volunteers are committed to helping dogs in need. We are a rescue team based in Anahuac, Texas. We come together with volunteers in New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland to save as many dogs and puppies as possible.

It’s that time again! Texas Rags to Riches has 38 dogs scheduled for spay/neuter surgery on June 12, and we need your support to make it happen.

To cover the cost of the clinic and truck rental, we are seeking $3,980 in donations. Every dollar helps us prevent unwanted litters, improve the health of these dogs, and give them a better future.
