🐾 6 German Shepherd Mixes, 6 Deserving Hearts
It is heartbreaking when incredible dogs get overlooked month after month. Today, we are introducing six beautiful German Shepherd mixes who have been waiting entirely too long for a family of their own.
They are listed in order of who has been waiting the longest. Please help us share their stories so they can finally find their forever homes.
1. Carson — 297 Days in Rescue
Carson arrived as a tiny puppy, but his siblings were all adopted long ago. He has spent nearly his entire life in a rescue kennel and is now just over 1 year old. Carson is just as awesome, loving, and smart as his siblings were, but he keeps getting completely overlooked. He deserves to know what a real home feels like. (Inquire about reduced adoption fees for our long-term residents!)
2. Millie Mae — 278 Days in Rescue
Millie Mae is a gorgeous girl who is ready to find her person. She currently weighs about 60 lbs, though she playfully admits she has a few pounds to lose to get her summer body ready. She is loyal, loving, and so patient.
3. Louie — 4 Years Old (Long-Term Resident)
If you want the perfect age, you want Louie. At 4 years old and around 58 lbs, he is past the chaotic puppy phase but has a lifetime of adventure left in him. Louie is an absolute lover boy who just wants to be by your side.
4. Priya — 211 Days in Rescue
Priya is a sweet, somewhat shy young girl who is not quite 1.5 years old. Weighing in at a gentle 50 lbs, she takes a moment to blossom, but once she knows she is safe, her loving personality shines right through.
5. Woody — 211 Days in Rescue
Woody is Priya’s age-mate—not quite 1.5 years old and about 50 lbs. He is an absolute looker with striking features, a great energy level, and a heart full of love that he is desperate to give to a family of his own.
6. Layla — 123 Days in Rescue
Layla is a beautiful 2-year-old girl weighing around 60 lbs. She is at that wonderful young-adult age where she is well-past puppyhood but still has plenty of fun, playful energy. She has been waiting four months now and is so ready for her second chance.
