UPDATE ON MISSY 🙏🏻
YOUR PRAYERS ARE WORKING 🙏🏻!!

Since the last update…….

They did discover MORE on the root of the problem, after a spinal tap (All results are not in yet) they did discover that a more complex infection had developed around her brain. They adjusted her medication to target the factor.

Missy came off of life support last week. She should have woken up within 30 minutes- an hour. Missy did not wake up. She was still stable, but it took her days to wake. IN THE MIDST: her kidneys were not properly functioning, she had been taken on and off, of dialysis.

BUT TODAY, Y’all…..! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Missy woke up! She is still confused and talking a little cray cray. AS EXPECTED! She has a long road ahead of her, as does her husband, Chuck! He has rarely left her side! Please keep them in your prayers! Your prayers are being heard! ❤️

And That is the great news of the day!

Where do we even begin? Assuming if your reading this, you know the prior updates. This happened SO FAST. Missy was diagnosed with “cancer” mid January, THIS YEAR. She was diagnosed with a SPECIFIC, type of cancer, Mid February. She was diagnosed with metastatic melanoma. Stage 4.

Well, melanoma is not reactive to chemotherapy. So, she was able to start on an immunotherapy treatment plan, and she did. Two treatments in, She got very sick, causing her to be at a loss for her necessary nutrition, and dehydrated. At such an early stage of treatment, her immune system is still suffering trying to help her body battle out the “bad”.

fast forward- 1 week later: back in the hospital, running extremely high fever. Later in her hospital stay, she was diagnosed with a Urinary Tract Infection.
Released… put on antibiotics…

Day 1.5 of being home…
This UTI has now turned into a sepsis infection. They (the doctors) still do not forsure know the root cause of the symptoms she is having at this time. Her body is reacting very bad to the infection. She has been placed on life support.
