We’re preparing for our 3rd Annual Easter Basket Extravaganza and we’re inviting local organizations and small businesses to join us in serving our community. 🐣

Every year, hundreds of families gather at Mondragon Family Market through Wings of Kindness Alas de Bondad to receive Easter baskets, connect with resources, and experience a space built on love, support, and community.

We’re looking for organizations and small businesses who want to participate by providing FREE resources, activities, or information for families.

Today a woman walked into the store with a surprise.

She said she saw my post and wanted to help… and brought pads for girls and women in our community.

This is exactly why I share what happens here.

isn’t just a store it has become a place where people show up for each other.

These will go directly to families we serve through Wings of Kindness / Alas de Bondad and will also help support our upcoming Easter event for children and families.

We are so incredibly grateful and emotional to share that we received coverage again for our 3rd Annual Christmas Toy Drive.
This moment belongs to our community. 🫶🏽

To every family who showed up, every volunteer who gave their time, every sponsor who believed in the mission, and every neighbor who donated from the heart — thank you. This event is proof of what happens when a community comes together with love, generosity, and purpose.

What started as a dream has grown into something bigger than us. And none of it would be possible without the people who continue to stand beside us year after year. Your support doesn’t just make events happen — it creates memories, dignity, and hope for families during the holidays.

We loaded up our van and went into the streets with toys but what we came back with was perspective.

I met mothers choosing between groceries and survival.
Children growing up in conditions no child should.
Families carrying pain that most people never stop to notice.

The joy on their faces was beautiful…
and the reality behind it was heartbreaking.

This is our city.
These are our neighbors.
And this is why we show up with Wings of Kindness to bring awareness, dignity, and support to those who need it most.
