DID YOU KNOW: Dogs have 225 million scent receptors (humans have 5 million) and can even tell which nostril has the stronger scent to follow it. With our K9s’ incredible sense of smell, article searches help us locate evidence, lost items, or hidden objects during real investigations.

Happy ! 🐾 Our new K9-themed department stickers are K9 Odin approved! 🐶 Stop by our Main Station or any Sub-Station during operating hours to grab your free sticker! Stations are closed on city holidays. Grab yours while supplies last! ✨

Hero's gaze is positively mesmerizing. This stunning black and red boy is only 2 years young. He does well with friendly dogs that have nice social skills. Hero is strong and energetic so he needs a home that can handle 90 pounds of shepherd oomph.

Hero is the father of Chloe and Chase and all were abandoned in stranger's yard. GSROC worked hard to make space for them in our rescue. Now, Hero needs heroes to share his profile to help him find a loving home.

Please share, share, share in SoCAL, NV and AZ. See more great photos at gsroc.org

Kris is a size XL sweetheart who is spending his 4th holiday season as an orphan with GSROC. He is a lover and a leaner, age 9. Kris has some specific requests for his forever home. He would like to be an only dog and he needs someone who is home quite a bit because he becomes anxious when he is left along for long periods. He would be perfect for someone who works from home or a retired person or couple. Kris desperately wants to be someone's special boy, It breaks our hearts that he hasn't found his home yet.

Please help us to help Kris by sharing his story with animal lovers. He is eligible to become a permanent foster, which involves GSROC paying for all of his future medical and food needs. See more photos of Kris at gsroc.org and please share, share, share. Help us make THIS the year that he finds love!

Nova is a little firecracker who is eager to love. She is a happy-go-lucky girl with energy to spare. Nova likes other friendly dogs and would love to have a playmate. A girl with a smaller frame, Nova walks well on a leash and is a volunteer favorite. At just 9 months old, Nova is at the perfect age to blend into a loving family. She is good with children, but too bouncy for toddlers. Children 6 and over are recommended.

Will you share this beautiful little girl to help her find a family that will treasure her? She is diamond in the rough, just waiting for someone to treasure her.
