Last week, our LA youth team hosted a bonfire night at Dockweiler Beach. Alhamdulillah, the turnout was amazing! As a Muslim community, it's so important to have spaces where we can come together, get to know one another, and reconnect with or deepen our faith. That's exactly what MAS GLA is all about. The Day of ʿArafah is one of the greatest days of the year; a day of mercy, forgiveness, and multiplied reward.
The Prophet ﷺ said:

Today is a chance to combine worship and giving. As you increase in duʿa, dhikr, and reflection, consider giving in charity for the sake of Allah.

Alhamdulillah for a beautiful morning at Huntington Beach 🌊☀️
This past weekend, our youth came together for Fajr at the Beach. A morning centered around reflection, connection, and regrounding ourselves through prayer and intention. From praying Fajr by the ocean to sharing reminders, breakfast, and conversations together, it was a much-needed moment.✨
A special reminder was shared on setting intentions through duʿaand aligning our goals with purpose and sincerity. Sometimes all we need is to pause and reconnect with Allah.
Jazakum Allahu khayran to everyone who attended, helped organize, and made the morning so meaningful. May Allah continue to strengthen and unite our community. 🌅

They are the reason our spaces feel welcoming. They are the reason our programs come to life. They are the reason our community continues to grow.

We are truly blessed to have volunteers who serve with heart and intention.

An evening rooted in faith. A community driven by purpose.
Our Ramadan Community Fundraising Iftar in Yorba Linda was a beautiful reminder of what happens when hearts gather for the sake of Allah. With reflections from Shaykh Mustafa Umar and a room full of sincere supporters, we witnessed the power of unity and intention.
Together, we are building programs that nurture youth, strengthen our community, and leave a lasting impact beyond Ramadan.
Jazakum Allahu khayran to everyone who joined and supported.

SubhanAllah, what a beautiful night.
Last weekend, we gathered in search of Laylatul Qadr for a powerful night of reflection and worship, centered on lessons from the lives of the Prophets Ibrahim (AS) and Yusuf (AS).
We were truly overwhelmed by the turnout — especially seeing so many youths eager to show up, engage, and grow in their faith. Moments like these are a reminder that the future of our ummah is bright✨, inshaAllah.
