Every year, we celebrate the strength and tenderness of women — the resilience and beauty they carry, their persistence through life, and the gentle care they so often pour into others. But most importantly, we celebrate how deeply they are loved.

At Voice of Refugees, we have the privilege of serving and empowering hundreds of women through events like this, as well as through ongoing programs and support that help them integrate, heal, and thrive in their communities.

This year’s Women’s Day was a beautiful reminder that love is best shown in action.

Learning English is the gateway for assimilation in the United States. VOR Learning Center offers more than English lessons for all immigrants and refugees, we also offer a community and a place to belong.

Our students consider VOR as their second home. They tell us that the love they experience is not like any other. We tell them “it’s not ours, it’s God’s love”
