Marvel fans, are you interested in cosplay but not sure where to begin? Or you’ve suited up before and want to learn how to use your fandom for a good cause? Join members of the Avengers Initiative, a national fan organization of Marvel cosplay volunteers, for a detailed discussion on how to get started in cosplay, as well as giving back to our communities via charity service events, visiting kids in hospitals, and much more. Come learn how you can be someone’s hero!

Bryan Lee (head executive officer, Avengers Initiative) will host Karen Katich (head membership officer, Avengers Initiative), Ron Alix (volunteer member, West Coast Avengers of California), Tom Iwata (membership officer, West Coast Avengers of California), Kate Tidwell (executive officer, West Coast Avengers of California), Coby Thornton (executive officer, Avengers Mid-Pacific of Hawaii), and Victor C. Joe, MD, MBA, FACS (UCI Health Regional Burn Center).

Marvel fans of WonderCon, assemble with us on Saturday March 28th 2-3PM on the South Terrace steps on the second floor of the convention center for an epic Marvel meetup & group photo shoot!

For security and safety, please adhere to the following when attending this photo gathering:

Everyone present for any picture taking must have their WonderCon badge with them. When taking the group pictures, cosplayers can hide their credentials.,

There is to be NO equipment set up like tri-pods and lighting. Any photography must be hand held.,

Any convention attendee present is to adhere to the instructions of firefighters, law enforcement, and/or security should any such enforcement staff be present.,

Harassing or offensive behavior will not be tolerated. WonderCon reserves the right to revoke, without refund, the membership and badge of any attendee not in compliance with this policy. Persons finding themselves in a situation where they feel their safety is at risk or who become aware of an attendee not in compliance with this policy should immediately locate the nearest member of security or staff member so that the matter can be handled in an expeditious manner.

Some of you may recall that in the past we’ve had to relocate into the exhibit hall due to rain, but thankfully Saturday’s forecast predicts partly cloudy skies with a 0% chance of rain! High temperature looks like it’ll be in the upper 80s so please be sure to hydrate, and can’t wait to see y’all there!
