Hello JUSA Families,

As the season comes to a close, we are encouraged by all the kind words we read each week in the nominations. We thank you to the coaches, players and families for keeping in the spirit of JUSA's mission; let's provide great soccer and the love of the game for seasons to come!

Just a few examples of our many respectful players and coaches!

~She shows up on time or early for every game and practice, showing respect to her coaches and team.

~She's committed to getting better every week and never argues about where she's playing.

~While winning by several goals, he showed great respect to the other team and congratulated them on their efforts.

~He's a player who stays positive and rarely has to be redirected; he's a good sport and his answer is usually always just yes!

Hello JUSA Families,

Have a wonderful week! Thank you for being awesome teammates and coaches!

Just a few examples of our many respectful players and coaches!

~She is constantly checking on players when they get hurt or have big emotions during games or practices, and is one of the first ones to give a high-five or provide encouragement.

~He pours his heart out on the soccer field. He takes the bad and turns it into fuel to make his team better and it fires him up. It’s so great to see how hard he works day in and day out.

~She is playing in an older division and show great respect and love for the game and other players. She is a joy to be around.

Hello JUSA Families,

Youth referees (under 18) have GREEN referee badges.

Just a reminder, youth referees should never be approached before or after a game. If the center ref is a youth referee, respectful on-field discussions regarding the laws of the game are fine. After a game ends, do not approach or follow any referee, but especially youth referees. Our priority is to keep everyone on the field safe and we appreciate your support.

If you have questions, direct them to [email protected] or [email protected].

Thank you for your support!

Hello JUSA Families and Friends!

Celebrating more of our players this week, congratulations!
Come to the office to collect your prize. Thanks!

Here are just a few examples of our many respectful players and coaches!

~He has continued to be an inspiration to all his fellow teammates. He's first to give a high five for great plays during the game. His overall determination throughout the games radiates amongst his teammates. Everyone sees him play and immediately they try harder. He's a great asset to any team.

~Even though our team was having a very rough game, she kept her head high and tried to carry the team on her shoulders. She never waivered, she never gave up and she kept giving 100% despite a very off game for the team.

~Great coach! Always gives his all and sees the best in the girls!

Hello JUSA Families,

We need your help and cooperation! It is a rule of the field owners (PYLUSD and the City of Yorba Linda) NO DOGS can be present at a JUSA game field. We all love our animals but please, LEAVE THEM AT HOME! We are at risk of losing our field permits if dogs continue to show up at games.

The exception is Yorba Linda Middle School, as it is a public park on weekends, but the dog must not be within 50 feet of the soccer field lines.

Service animals are the exception, but they must be identified. As outlined below, misrepresenting a service dog carries heavy fines. Respect our policy and our fields, and the safety of our players, coaches and referees.

Thank you very much!
