Portales Ballet Folklorico Festival
Was held on September 16th 2025 at ENMU CUB Ballroom

In attendance were :
Bovina High School,
Clovis High School,
Hondo High School,
Portales Middle School and Portales Ballet Folklorico Group.

The Winners of the awards were as follows:
Best Choreography - Hondo High School
Best Technique and Form-
Clovis High School
Best Costume- Portales Middle School
Best Elementary group- Portales Middle School
Best Jr high/ high school/ group- Clovis High School
Best Female Dancer- Portales Ballet Folklorico’s -Jesana Domínguez
Best Male Dancer- Clovis High School’s -
Best of Festival- Clovis High School

Huge thank you to Dolores Garcia, Isaac Polaco, Laura Garcia, and Viviana for being my judge! They had the hardest job of the whole festival! Thank you to Bethany Rey for being my Masters of Ceremonies and blessing us with her beautiful voice singing two songs for us.
Thank you to the ENMU Spanish Club for helping behind the scenes with music, decorations, concession, clean up. Huge thank you to Santi for always responding to every question, helping me with numbers for dancers being the calm to my storm. Thank you to Sodexo for accommodating us in the dinning hall. Thank you to my boss and coworkers for their support throughout the whole planning process. Thank you to Mary Scott for all your prayers, letting me vent and bounce ideas off of you. Thank you for getting us some sponsors for our games.
Thank you to Iram Ivobal for the use of your DJ equipment your such a life saver.Thank you to my sister Carol who loves me and my group she does all she can to support my group. Thank you to my amazing dancers who practice and danced so beautifully. Thank you for sticking by my side through thick and thin.
Thank you to my Children for supporting me and all my plans.

Thanks be to God for a great day! I am super grateful to so many amazing friends to step up and volunteer to make our Portales Ballet Folklorico Festival such a success.
I could not have done it with out each and everyone involved.
What a fun time being with great friends! My heart is healed from all the sadness I’ve been feeling lately today has been just what the doctor ordered.

I am blessed! I know the day is not even over and we are already brainstorming ideas for the next one.

If anyone has pictures or videos to please share them with me!

Thanks Be to God for another successful performance!
State Fair 2025 in the books for Portales Ballet Folklorico!
Super proud of these young ladies they have been working hard and they danced beautifully!

Thank you to all the friends and family who came out to support us! We love you all and appreciate you coming out to watch us dance!!
