90 Hot Meals served with LOVE

On August 26, the incredible volunteers of San Isidro Labrador Parish-Nangka Ministry on Social Services came together to serve hot, nutritious meals to 90 children within San Pedro Calungsod chapel community.

A massive thank you to everyone who cooked, packed and served with so much love. Fellner Family Foundation and SILP-Nangka didn’t just provide food - we provided hope and comfort.

140 Smiling faces and 140 warm meals

FFF is incredibly proud of our Catholic Church partners. The impact made by Our Lady of Guadalupe parish and their Social Services ministry members this past weekend was incredible. Through their hard work and dedication, 140 children in need and few adults were served hot tinolang manok (chicken stew) with rice and fresh bananas to the children of purok 7, Kabayan rd. Malanday, Marikina.

Food insecurity remains a critical challenge for many local families in the Philippines. Initiatives like this are vital for ensuring that youth in targeted communities have the baseline nutrition they need to grow, thrive and focus.

For the culmination of Nutrition Month this July, Fellner Family Foundation sponsored the community outreach of San Isidro Labrador Parish- MSAHDC where they shared to the children the importance of eating nutritious food. 80 children of Nangka-Centro received warm foods and fresh fruits.

Feeding the children street-by-
street ensures that no child is left out simply because they cannot travel.
Our partnership with Catholic parishes answers this need. They bring nutrition directly to the doorsteps of those who need it the most.
This week Our Lady of Guadalupe-Social Services and Human Development Ministry served 85 children with hot meals made of chicken and vegetables, with rice and fresh banana, on Sampaguita Street, Bulelak, Malanday.

One of our Catholic parish partners, SILP-Nangka, and their Ministry on Social Services and Human Development members brought warm, nutritious meals to the children of Camacho resettlement community Phase 1 & 2 in June. Despite the rain, they were able to distribute 80 meals to 80 children.

Communities that work together to feed children create a brighter future by reducing suffering and giving young lives the opportunity to thrive. Providing food is more than charity - it is an investment in humanity, ensuring that every child has the chance to dream, succeed, and flourish.
