💛 A Message of Gratitude from Fistula Foundation 💜

We recently received the most heartwarming letter from Fistula Foundation in response to our $5,000 donation — made in memory of Karen Lee — and we just had to share it with all of you.

Our gift arrived in time for Mother's Day, and because of it, Fistula Foundation was able to **match our donation**, meaning twice as many healing surgeries will be provided for women in Nigeria. What a beautiful way to honor Karen's legacy of uplifting women.

The letter shared the story of Karimatu, a fistula survivor from Nigeria who developed the condition at just 15 years old. Thanks to the support of donors like our Women to Women community, her life has been transformed. In her own words: *"My story has changed because of your support. My confidence is back. My future is bright. Thank you for being my Miracle."*

Fistula Foundation's network now spans more than 35 countries, and your generosity is helping them grow surgical capacity to reach even more women tomorrow.

None of this happens without YOU — your compassion, your generosity, and your belief that every woman deserves to heal and thrive. 💪

🎉 BIG Community Shout Out!! 🎉

We cannot say THANK YOU enough to Racheal Meloche, VP at Banner Bank, Anacortes, and her absolutely AMAZING team!! (Pictured here)

Racheal and her crew went completely above and beyond for our International Women's Day project — assembling 180-220 packs (with little extras thrown in! 🌸) to benefit the high school girls right here in our community. That is extraordinary!!

We are so moved by the generosity of this incredible community. Here's a moment we will treasure — Lisa Rhoades (2nd from left) presenting a check to the remarkable Executive Director Heidi Roy (3rd from left) and her amazing team at Skagit Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services!

Heidi said it best: "Thank you again for your generous donation toward the work we do. It was great to have you come by, Lisa. I am honored to have been a part of the Celebrating Her event."

And we want to share something that makes YOUR support even more meaningful this year. Due to a significant reduction in federal grant funding, Heidi's team is facing a real shortfall — which means every single dollar from our community carries even greater weight. You showed up at exactly the right moment.

Because of YOU — our wonderful supporters, sponsors, attendees, vintage fashion show participants, and Sunday service project volunteers — here is what we were able to accomplish together:

✨ 800+ feminine hygiene packs distributed
💛 $4,500 donated to the Fistula Foundation — which will be DOUBLED to $9,000!
💜 $5,000 donated to Skagit Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services

Our deliveries continue!

🌸 Lisa Rhoades and Racheal Meloche — VP at Banner Bank, Anacortes — along with Racheal's incredible employees, provided and assembled, over 180 feminine hygiene and wellness packs! Here Lisa & Racheal deliver those packs to the counseling staff at Anacortes High School and Cap Sante High School.

On behalf of Celebrating Her and Women to Women,
we are so proud to share the results of our International Women's Day community service project — made possible by the incredibly generous women of Anacortes and Skagit Valley!

Thanks to an overwhelming response to our call for products, we were able to distribute feminine hygiene and health & wellness products to EVERY grade school, middle school, and high school in both ANACORTS & LA CONNER. Hundreds of hand-assembled care packs are now available on-site for girls whenever they're needed most.

A heartfelt thank you to Bonnie Bowers and Lisa Rhoades, pictured here with Tara Dowd, principal at Fidalgo Elementary, for personally delivering to principals and counseling staff at:

- Anacortes Middle School
- Mount Erie Elementary School
- Fidalgo Elementary School

💜 This is one of our favorite stories from our International Women's Day events — and it started with a simple, beautiful idea.

While assembling hygiene packs alongside the moms and daughters who modeled in our Chilly Rain Retro Vintage Fashion Show at the Rockfish Grill & Anacortes Brewery , one of the moms paused and said, "You know who could really use some of these? Buxton's. They serve kids in our community every week through music lessons."

We didn't hesitate. "Absolutely!" 🎵 And here's Lisa Rhoades dropping off the hygiene packets at Buxton's with Clarity Miller receiving the donation. ❣

That one conversation is exactly what community looks like. Because of the overwhelming generosity of our donors, we received so many product donations that we were able to spread the love far and wide — reaching organizations and families across our community that we might never have thought of on our own.

It takes a village. And ours? It's pretty incredible. 🌸✨

💜 On March 8th — International Women's Day — we gathered at the Rockfish Grill for an afternoon of vintage fashion, community, and celebration, courtesy of Chantal from Chilly Rain Retro

We are so grateful to the Rockfish Grill & Anacortes Brewery one of our wonderful event sponsors, for hosting us in such style. But the afternoon had one more surprise up its sleeve — Empress 🍺 — a craft beer created especially for this event by the Rockfish brewmasters alongside a group of incredible women. It was the perfect sip for such a meaningful evening & afternoon.

💜 What a magical evening at the Croatian Cultural Center on March 7th!

From the hygiene pack assembly to the silent auction, the energy in that room was electric — all because of YOU. Our community came together in the most beautiful way to celebrate International Women's Day and make a real difference.
