Good morning ASD families:

This is a reminder that we begin handout of elementary laptops on Monday, March 30 at the Anacortes High School main parking lot.

If you are sick, please do not come to pick up a laptop. Please fill out this form instead and we will mail one to you: https://bit.ly/ASDLaptopLoan

Instructions for pick up are below:

Pick-up process:

Devices will be handed out at Anacortes High School (1600 20th Street) according to the schedule below. Cars need to line up on 20th street, on the south side of the high school. You will be directed to pull into the parking lot, and devices will be handed out at the curb. You may experience wait times, and we ask for your patience. Please do not park, and do not get out of your car.

Last Names E, F, G: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Last Names G, H-: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM

Last Names I, J, K, L: 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Tuesday, March 31

Last Names M: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM

Last Names N, O, P: 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM

Last Names Q, R, S: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Last Names T, U, V: 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM

Directions to Families:

Please do your best to arrive within the time designated by last name.

Students do not need to be present; any adult family member may pick up the device(s) for their student(s).

Before arriving, families create a window sign to display in their passenger side window. The sign should be visible from a distance of 10 feet. Please use white paper with black ink. Sign to include:

Family Last Name (in large, legible printed letters)

Child first name 1

Child first name 2

Child first name 3

Child first name 4

Devices will have been cleaned and employees will be wearing gloves to minimize risk. Families should be aware that we will be taking precautions to keep everyone safe. Please stay in your car to comply with social distancing requirements.

Way to go Whitney Dragons! Our winter fundraiser, Cookies, Cocoa, and Caroling, was so successful. We raised just over $800 from our auction baskets and raffle. And we brought together our community for a night of fun and cheer! Thank you to everyone who participated!

Hello Anacortes Families! Don't miss the Whitney PTA's Holiday Event this Wednesday, 5:30pm at the Anacortes Senior Center. We have had some AMAZING and GENEROUS local businesses donate gift certificates and items to our Caroling, Cookies, and Cocoa Party! Come with cash and be ready to enter our raffle ($2 per ticket/ 5 tickets for $5) or place your bid on any one of our fantastic auction items/baskets! We have a lot of activites for families to do together after our Kinder Caroling Concert that will take place at 6pm. So come grab some cocoa, a cookie, and have some fun with us!! **This is a dessert type event, no dinner food will be served, so please plan accordingly.** We can't wait to see you all there!!
