Youth Day hosted by our Delta Waterfowl Cane River Chapter

Sgt. Harvey Pearce recently connected with about 40 attendees at a Delta Waterfowl Foundation event at the Natchitoches Shooting Range. Bringing along his patrol truck and vessel, he shared insights on boating safety, life as a wildlife agent, and answered questions. 🦆🚤

Delta Waterfowl – South Louisiana Chapter is proud to partner with the Louisiana Wildlife Agents Association and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries in support of the “I Got Caught Wearing My Life Jacket” program.

This incredible initiative rewards kids and teens who are found wearing their life jackets while boating, creating positive interactions and promoting a simple message that saves lives.

At Delta Waterfowl SOLA, our mission goes beyond ducks. We are committed to supporting conservation, outdoor education, youth engagement, and programs that make a lasting impact across Louisiana.

Through this partnership, we are helping: Promote boating safety for Louisiana's youth. Encourage the next generation of outdoorsmen and women. Support the dedicated Wildlife Agents and Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries personnel who work every day to protect our natural resources and communities. Invest in the future of conservation across our state

We are honored to stand alongside the Louisiana Wildlife Agents Association and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries in a program that protects lives while building a stronger outdoor heritage for future generations.

Together, we're making a difference—one life jacket, one child, and one outdoor experience at a time.

Chris Williams, This one’s for you! 😉

Delta Waterfowl applauds the proposed 2026 Hunt Fish Rule creating historic expansion for waterfowl hunting on refuge land.

The proposal would open or expand more than 1,450 hunting and sport fishing opportunities across 111 stations in 32 states, including waterfowl hunting on 41 refuges in the National Wildlife Refuge System and National Fish Hatchery System.

Delta Waterfowl strongly supports this proposal and is encouraging duck hunters to submit comments through the Duck Hunters Action Alert System before the June 26 deadline.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support and enthusiasm surrounding this initiative. Projects like these are an important step toward enhancing local habitat, supporting waterfowl populations, and preserving the natural resources that make South Louisiana so special. We’re proud to be part of an effort that will create a lasting impact for future generations while helping sustain healthy duck populations for years to come.
