Luna's love bugs will be at Jubilee. We will be selling walking tacos, pop, water and pop bottle ring toss game for the kiddos also we will be selling quilt tickets the drawing will be at 6 at the The Amsterdam Jubilee. If anyone would like to donate something yo help us out here is a list of items we are needing. We are also in need of a canopy for us to use that day. Miss Luna can't be to hot well either can her Aunt Meme hehe.

15 lb Hamburger
Taco seasoning
Shredded cheese
Sour cream
Onions
Tomatoes
Lettuce
Small bags of Fritos
Bottled water
Cans of pop any flavors
2 litter bottles of pop flavors.

Wow, what an amazing day we had yesterday!! Luna and all if us would like to thank each and everyone who helped us yesterday! If you baked, donated, bought a yummy snack, stopped by and visited, and to mcbees for the use of the location of our bake sale. Thank you all so so very much we succeeded again this year raising a large amount of money to donate to The Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City! We appreciate each and everyone of you so very much!

It's time again for Ryan's 3rd annual bake sale for Luna's love bugs. It will be August 11th from 9 till we run out at McBees in Amsterdam. This is always a big money maker for our group. As always I'm asking for donations for it. We have so many great bakers and gardeners in our community that helps us out every year. So if you would like to bake some goodies for us we would greatly appreciate it. Let me no if you would like to help out and I will come pick it up or you can drop it off the morning of our sale. As always baked goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, and if you like to can we can we will take that also whatever you have is welcome and appreciated. All our money goes to the greater Kansas City Guild and Luna's name.

Today was successful! Luna will be getting SMO'S instead of AFO'S. ( difference between the two is how tall they are.) She will be getting her fancy new foot ware on the 2nd of August. Picture 1 is the style of SMO ( shorter height coming up just over the ankle.) Picture 2 is the design we picked out! Light purple with butterflies and brighter purple straps. Typically children with DS that have AFO'S or SMO'S wear them until around 5 years old. Maybe just a little shorter time or maybe a little longer time. Thank you all for thinking of our girl Today!

Ok we're wanting to do a fundraiser for Luna. I'm going to have cookbooks made to sell I want the cookbooks to be recipes from the community. So I need everybody in Luna's family and friends to fill my inbox with recipes. You can send them to luna's love bugs Jenny yanonis or missy Stanley's in box also. Super proud of my stubborn little girl. Children/ adults with down syndrome can be very stubborn. We have discovered Luna is stubborn when it comes to learning to walk. She only wants to try when she wants and she does not like to be pushed. If she can not smile or sweet her way out of it she gets a little tiffy!
Today she finally did it 3 full steps on her own! And then turned it into a game of flopping to the couch. Lol
Enjoy her little video!
Also note her OT is the greatest if the greatest! We are blessed to have her in our family!
