Today St.Andrews Chapter Order of DeMolay met at Label Shopper and the youth leaders purchased $500 worth of cold weather clothing to be shipped down to North Carolina to help the people affected by the flooding.

This year, the Grand Lodge of the State of New York Free & Accepted Masons celebrates the 100th anniversary of the purchase of the Round Lake Camp/ Masonic Home Camp property. The former residents of the Masonic Home (now the Masonic Care Community of NY) spent their summers there. Children of New York Freemasons started coming to camp in the 1960s. In 1990, the summer camp was renamed "Camp Turk" for R.W. Past Grand Master Nathan Turk (1956-57).
Today, it is open to all young people, regardless of Masonic affiliation. New York DeMolay also uses the site for conventions and other events.

Today the youth leaders of St.Andrews Chapter Order of DeMolay hosted a bowling tournament fundraiser at Kelly's Imperial Lanes in Amsterdam. The young men did a great job with a raffle of different donated baskets. There was much laughter, eating pizza and even some advisors/parents joined in on the fun. We also had many lane sponsors. All in all they fun and are looking forward to organizing another bowling fundraiser. Pictures below are from the lane sponsorship signs. Special thanks to Amsterdam Animal Control Officer Gina Kline for the Wonderful Pet basket she donated the event. Thank you to Lindsay Feulner of Lindsay's Custom Creations for her basket donation.

Last night Master Councilor Bro. Hunter Christiano was invited to speak in front of the Fonda Fultonville School Board. He discussed the road to Junior International Representative DeMolay. The Board had some great questions and Hunter represented New York State Demolay and St. Andrew's Chapter of Demolay very well.
